Maybe not. Maybe two more years if the added firepower pays dividends in less minutes for Timmy and Manu.
I'm gonna make sure I go see the spurs play when they come out to play Clippers and Lakers even go up to see them play Warriors.

The Spurs are somehow rebuilding while keeping the core. While it sounds great, it doesn't usually work for most teams. But the Spurs aren't most teams. Like the Patriots, they balance continuity with change, bringing in new players while keeping core players steady.
The thing that worries me is 2006 was somewhat compsrable, bringing back a successful core while adding Finley and Oberto. But LA is way better than Finley, and I have high hopes for West.

That is a good question that I have wondered also. My hope is that there was so much basketball x's and o's talk with Pop that LMA simply wanted the same from the other meetings. Perhaps the Fakers misread LMA and the glitz show was zero interest to LMA. The Fakers found out and LMA half patronized them out of a leave no stone unturned mentality.All in all very.

yes with the cap blowing up in 2016-17 or whenever it is, combined with eventually Timmy Duncar must slow down and retire......perhaps LMAs agent was telling him keep on good terms with the Faker$$$.

Excited to see Manu back. Even though he signed for 2 years, I think everyone believes this is his final year.
I think the off season signings and coming to grips with the FINALITY of it all will inspire Manu to have a great season.
I fully expect to see "Will Manu Ever Score 20 Points in a Game" and "Ditka Couldn't Stop Manu Tonight" threads bumped during the season.
