^ you have Indiana making the PO? The only surefire team that will not make it back is Boston..I have Heat as a lock to get back. Probably the Nets will fall down too but Indy still have to compete with Detroit who are not going to start as ugly as they did last season..
If George is anywhere near the same player, ya, I think they get in..

In no order, I expect Cleveland, Atlanta, Miami, Washington, Chicago, Indiana, Milwaukee and Toronto to get in..I think it'll be compe ive, though, I could see Charlotte and Detroit getting in, as well..

I think the Bulls are going to be worse than people think, though, and I wouldn't be completely surprised if they implode..

Harkless is an overrated prospect, but ya, it's a nice risk for Portland..

They are going to be bad this year(bottom 3 in the conference), but I like their off-season, overall..they are trying out a bunch of young players with upside and seeing what they have in them, rather than trying to compete for a playoff spot by signing/acquiring veterans that have peaked or are on the decline(like Sacramento and the Lakers, for instance)..

I know that's the case when a coach gets fired in-season, but does it still occur when the coach gets fired during the off-season?..

I wouldn't be surprised. Thibs is such a demanding voice that I can see guys being pretty re-energized.

Maybe, but I think they have by far the most overrated roster in the league, I've been saying it for years..the Bulls and Clippers are perennially overrated due to the names on their rosters, tbh..

Bulls are a very poorly built team..they're still relying on an average PG to be their star(when Butler is better than him, easily) and he can't play off the ball, their best big man is a horrible defender(Gasol), their best defensive big can't play offense anymore(Noah), Noah and Gasol can't play together, they don't have any perimeter defense now that Butler has to exert way more energy on offense, limited bench, etc..

People look at the names on their roster and act like Rose, Gasol and Noah are anywhere near the same players they once were..

They are overrated, but won because of their defensive system and the fact they are in the East. They aren't really that good at all. Wouldn't be surprised, like you said, if they struggle. But I still have them being more energized next year and still making the playoffs unless things go really bad.

I think they'll get in, too, but as a 6-7 seed IMO..

East look more interesting, at least, with Miami's roster(if everything goes right) and I'm interested in seeing how the Bucks look with Monroe(they should be able to mask his defense with all the athletes around him)..if they had a different PG than Carter-Williams' scrubby ass, they could be a tough team..

What about Boston? They won 40 games last year, and they have a young roster that is bound to experience internal improvement. They kept everyone except for Bass, and added Amir Johnson and David Lee (he's not great, but he can be a solid role player still). I'm really high on Brad Stevens and think he's already a top 5ish coach in the league. They had one of the best records in the league post all-star break after adding Isaiah Thomas.

I think they might be my favorites for that 8th seed IMO.

I think MCW is better than most think. Natural PG IMHO. Although, I will admit he can work on his jumpshot. But if he adds that 15 footer to his arsenal, watch out!

Man...$70 million for Kanter God damn Well, he is young...maybe he can grow to become simply a bad defender rather than one of the worst defenders in the league.

OKC was really in a ty situation though. They match, and everyone says they overpaid. They let him walk, and everyone calls their FO cheap.

Anybody got already weird vibes about Stan Van gundy turning into the next DOC THE GM? I love Baynsie, but there is no way he's worth $6.6m per-year even in this market..I mean for what? dude just got posterized out of the rotation..Overpaying in a small market should have a logic, too..

I like Baynes, but I'll get over it. Especially knowing his alternate is West and Boban

Not sure why Bill Simmons didn't throw Wes Matthews 4/70 deal with that list? pulling dem punches because he's buddy with Cuban?
