    - said TP WONT be playing al 82 games (lots of rest)
    - Confirmed that they got lucky with Ray Macollum. By the end of RS there was a 10 min difference between him and CoJo. He thought Macollum ran better an offense.
    - David West was no influenced by anyone when leaving that amount of money on the table. Plus he confirmed his signing

feel free to add anything. I don't think I remember it all.

I'm surprised at the dig on Cory. He basically said Ray was an upgrade, even though he was statistically one of the worst PGs in the NBA last year. They must really see something there.

    RC's exact quote was:

"He [Ray McCallum] probably runs the team better than Cory did at a similar point."

For the price Ray McCallum is definitely the better choice for this season...

No one would argue that, but RC didn't qualify his statement based on their respective salaries.

To me it sounded like RC was saying that Ray (a 2 year pro) is probably better/more capable of running a team than Cory was at this time in his career (as in when Cory was a 2 year pro). Just didn't come out well.

He said Joseph's defense was better. Cory was never that great running the offense. He didn't create easy shots for others.

Sadly, neither could Mills. However, he's under contract and he can shoot, sometimes. They'll continue to run Manu into the ground as back up pg I suppose with the hope that the Spurs coaching staff can once again turn water into wine with Ray before seasons end. It looks like they will need his playmaking ability sooner rather than later.

Never felt like Cory could run an offense, better defensivley.

I think everyone is just trying to be nice to Cory given what he's done for the franchise. But lets all be perfectly honest, CoJo never learned how to run the offense. That should be obvious to anyone who watched him play.

Spurs got really lucky. Instead of having to acquire him through free agency (which they could not afford), they got him for a 2nd round pick.

Cojo now has $30 million reasons not to care if anyone thinks Ray is a better point guard than he is.

    RC's exact quote was:

"He [Ray McCallum] probably runs the team better than Cory did at a similar point."
Yeah, that was the only really notable quote.

RC being high on McCallum gives me hope because RC is the last person to say anything other than a cliche or a random, meaningless jumble of words unless he really wants to.

And it's definitely true that McCallum runs a team better than CJ. CJ very, very rarely ever created offense for others. Even when in pick-and-rolls, he would either look for his own shot or end up throwing an escape pass.

I don't mean to knock CJ unfairly because he's a of a defender, hustles hard and is a great team guy -- but his playmaking ability made Patty Mills look like John Stockton.
