    The nominees for the best defender are Tony Allen, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Davis, and D. Jordan. It's interesting to see that the 2015 DPOY is not even nominated. So much disrespect and I thought that the players award might be more legit because these are the guy who are actually on the court. I guess not.

    I read that players have a lot of personal agenda in these awards. Like voting for there best buddies or what not. So these awards are really bias.

    This is the first year the players are doing this. The players union came up with this. Not related to ESPYs at all. It is to increase their popularity though.

    wtf? kawhi, duncan, allen, draymond, bogut, iggy? davis, deandre and butler are overrated it's not even funny. players just voted the guys who are commercialized by the nba the most.
