So I'm on vacation in a beach condo with my family. The first night was great, the second night we all (10 of us) start to notice around 11pm that the condo above us is still making noise, running, moving furniture, even a dog barking at one point. We call security TWO different times cause we're trying to get some ing sleep. It's basically continued till I'm posting this, it's slowed down a little recently. Today we found out that surprise surprise, they're black, with like 4 kids in their party. I'm the last one awake and we haven't called again tonight cause we've done some pretty good drinking so we know we'll be good sleeping wise. We're not leaving till Saturday so I'm trying to tap into the black mindset in case this continues and management has to get involved. Just looking for tips and advice, brothas

First off, yes we have a 5, 6, 8, and 9 yr old in our family. But that shouldn't ing matter as sleep isn't a necessity for only children. Second, no, it's not like they were partying it up. It sounded like they're just letting kids run back and forth. Earlier on it sounded like they were moving furniture around. Third, regardless of what kinda noise it was it doesn't ing matter, you don't just get to make all the noise you want like it's your house. And finally, that's what security is there for all house of the night. We're trying to get someone to get them to shut the up. It's not like we're trying to bounce them from the condo

They probably live in an apartment so this is like their home. You should step up to the plate and take their kids out for a game of catch or who am I kidding basketball game. That will deplete their battery come night time
you could make as much noise as you could from 8am till 1pm when they are sleeping...

That's the catch. Their noises never ing ended. I don't think they slept. I'm going to bed right now and so far they've toned it down this night but it's like I'm living under a jungle. Update coming tomorrow

ah...I was looking at his last post. Yeah...11 is a little early to be calling security if it's just some kids running around.
11 is when we're all trying to go to bed. The security calls were about midnight and 1:30. 11 is normal when you've had a full day and I'm with my family, not partying it up with a bunch of friends, heads

1:30 isn't even late on a weekend, nevermind on vacation at a beach condo. Past 2am, ok i can see calling security. It's vacation, not a work day.
So you called security twice? What did they say to you? I assume since you can hear everything up there, you'd have heard if security stopped by. Maybe talk to the facility mgmt. during the day? Or just have the "elder" of your group talk to the "elder" of their group during the day, before the problem happens and everyone has had too much to drink.
who cares what time YOU and your family go to bed. With that logic, you could say you want to bed at 6:00 and have the right to about little kids just doing what little kids do.
