With all the talk of TD 5 and TOSB 5. If Duncan were to ring next year and plays a small role, would it be tainted in any way by the NBA fan? I can already hear the excuses tbh... "oh but he needed LMA to win 6" or " he couldn't of done it without LMA carrying his ass" IMHO no I don't think it would matter at all. Duncan has been great for so long and was instrumental to SA's 5 les... He deserves a backseat to at least one imo. Don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if TD is the main reason (again) if we were to win 6

He's was all NBA last season. Doesn't matter if he doesn't score 30 a game. He's vital to the team no matter what the roster looks like.

People kind of do that already. They say Duncan couldn't get 5 without Kawhi … I think each of Duncan's les have been legit and any future les he wins would be adding to his huge legacy.
