Watching Noah Vonleh against the Spurs...Looks 10 times better than Randle
Damn lackey, you.
I forgive you Cubs...you're just ornery.
I would be a little pissed too if half my team was playing in the Summer League.
Broken Foot is probably worse than an Achilles injury for a Basketball player. And more so for a post player due to all the banging and rebounding they do. This is what did Yao in as well. Look at Embiid, going to miss another year as well because of his foot injury. A minor fracture like Durant is ok, but I believe Randle and Embiid had a complete break in the bone, not good.
Having a screw in your foot is NOT A GOOD THING for a NBA post player. Lakers should have passed on this guy. Same with the Sixers and Embiid.
Durant's injury is one of the worst. And he's also got screws in his leg.
wtf are you talking about, there is so much wrong with what you just say...
I didn't know that. But as least the screw isn't in his foot. But Achilles injury are not as bad as they use to be because of the advance science of the past 3 years. Look at Suggs, came back after 6 months, helped the Ravens win a SB and still posted a 10+ sack season the next.
Actually the surgery today make the Achilles stronger, believe it or not.
Read about Achilles injuries and the lastest advance science. The Achilles is actually stronger and more durable with the way the surgery is conducted. Look at all the recent players across sports that have retain their high level of play after the injury.
+5 years ago, you might be right. But with today's medicine and surgical procedures, your not. ACL use to be a career ender, not anymore. Same with Achilles injuries.
There is a reason that the Mavs gave Matthews his contract despite his injury because they know he is more than likely going to make a full recovery.

Ya, you should have got Okafor. Good big men are rare. Guards, not so much.
he had a leg injury, not a foot injury.

I am not quite sure who you are talking about, but Matthews had a torn achilles and Randle a broken foot that has a screw in it. Neither is a leg injury.
I see, so he had an other injury.. I figured you were referencing the leg injury that knocked him out after one game into the season. Makes sense now..
