Iran is smart regional power though, a lot smarter than their biggest Rival Saudi Arabia.
Iran's smarts is the only reason why they are even a rival. Realistically, If the Saudi Arabian Government had a brain bigger than the size of Pea, they would probably be a world Powerhouse by now considering their resources and religious influence...But Saudi People don't have jobs while Iranians are very self sufficient individuals who make their own weapons and their citizens actually contribute to the society.

I know what you mean, but I Saudi Arabia has lost all it's credibility among Sunni and Salafi Muslims. Sure, government wise they still have a massive influence on all the Islamic governments. But they've lost all the support they had with the common folk. Saudi Arabia is a joke of a nation. Their criminal bombing campaign in Yemen destroyed whatever legitimacy they had left. They can buy some friends here and there but are far from a regional power. and their Wahhabism is the foundation for groups like Al Quada and Daesh. and UsA and Israel are jokes for allying with this regime of clowns.
Saudi Arabia is the strongest regional powerhouse in the middle east bro. Their only real Rival is Iran and right now Iran is just trying to get back on track. Iran should be able to surpass them in a 10 or so years. Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region in general is so dependent on foreign works, it's insane. When I stayed there for a few months, I literally didn't see a Saudi Working

Of course western media thanks to Saudi checkbook is downplaying this tragedy 2. Bolstering Sunni extremism to try and curb Iran/Hezbollah, the result is DAESH which is sowing major discord in Iraq and Syria and too causing a humanitarian problem with over 220,000 dead in Syria and millions of refugees. Domestically, they just celebrated their 100th beheading. These Wahhabists are psychos with deep pockets... and are buying the silence of the media in the West when it comes to their transgeessions.
