Kyle fadeaway on his last basket was sweet
Yeah, and as the commentators pointed out, if he ever masters that shot it will be nearly impossible to guard.
Not going to lie half of the thrill of watching KA is that he looks like he is in trouble often and then pulls out a trick. Dude has incredible number of moves. We certain?ly see a whole different move or shot every so often. Often I am like no, no, no, oh Yea!!!![]()
Damn. To think the front office could've drafted RJ Hunter.

In the end I think we will be happier with Milutinov.
And Simmons.
He had a good game but he's been pretty bad overall in the SL.
Would have traded a first plus to move up for Portis though. Or I would have loved Montrezl.
Bobo is similar. I've never seen him make the same moves, or shots, twice when 10 ft or under. For all his 30, 40 lbs of flab, he's under control, athletic.
you sure your a spurs fan?nuthin but celts highlights.
I think he will develop a little jump hook. He likes to drive, herky jerky, into the lane and gets his defender kinda out of sync. With his length he'll be able to get a jump hook off all the time, maybe with and one.
I sure hope Simmons doesn't turn into a black hole on offense. He should never have gone for that last shot with less than 30 seconds on the clock. That's not smart Spurs basketball.
After watching the game I can see why we didn't draft RJ Hunter...we already have him in Jarell Eddie. Same size, length, athleticism, and shooting ability.
very similar players
Yeah, that was terrible execution. As exciting as it was, it never should have come down to needing the game-winner.
Good news: Something tells me Becky gave him an earful for that. Hopefully it can be a learning experience for him. Better to happen in Summer League than in the big leagues.
It was just one play...he's consistently shown a willingness to pass and get others involved all SL. Don't think there's any reason to worry about him becoming a black hole on offense because he made one stupid play![]()
Exactly!
RJ Hunter is better in a lot of aspects. Better defense, playmaker, court vision, higher IQ. He was a first rounder cause he's more than a catch and shoot guy.
I agree. RJ has close to a 6'10 wingspan so he's able to bother guards. He's been a little inefficient but I think he has good enough footwork to improve his percentage. (Creating better shots and what not). Kid seems to step up in big moments too. He was up for an ESPY for that win over Baylor in the NCAA tourney but he skipped it so he could be with his summer league teammates.
