    Expectation: They tank the entire season and get a top pick for 2016 draft, then bounce right back 2016-2017 for another championship run with a top rookie and Dirk Nowitzki in his last year's service as a Mav.

    Reality: They fight their best for the 8th seed and eventually get it, only to get ass kicked again in the first round, and waste all their money on overrated role players in the off-season as usual.
