I'm a native Texan and lived in SA for over a decade, but I'm now living up in Seattle. (Where I'm hoping we'll get a team again so I can see the Spurs once or twice a year.)

I've always suspected that that the reason these sites have so many out-of-town fans is that, if your an exile, you can't just talk about your team at the office or tooling about town.
That's why sites such as this perform such a service (like NBA League Pass kinda).

Awesome. I just moved from Overland Park to Mission, KS (moved to Kansas City about 2.5 years ago from DC). The BBQ is amazing here. Really love the city especially after living in DC.
Spent about six years in San Antonio (2 year stints, Dad was military) and David Robinson quickly became my hero. Been spoiled as ever since.
