1998 - D-Rob
1999-2010 - Duncan ('08 might've been Manu actually)
2011 - Manu
2012 - Parker
2013 - Duncan
2014 - toss-up between Kawhi/Duncan
2015 - Kawhi
Who've you got?
I didn't get to see Duncan's first five years (98-02), but I'd imagine all of those seasons with the slight exception of 98 are Tim (statistically they are).
For me the rest go something like:
03 - Duncan
04 - Duncan
05 - Duncan (Manu was 1b to him in the Playoffs)
06 - Duncan
07 - Duncan
08 - Manu
09 - Duncan
10 - Duncan
11 - Manu
12 - Parker
13 - Parker/Duncan
14 - Kawhi
15 - Duncan
What do you think it is?

The Great Yacht finally admits that a "role player" could be the best player on a team?!
My list was based on the playoffs lol
Yes, the best player on our team was a role player. Reason why we finished where we finished smh
please, he inflate stats in 2014. Best players that year were Timmy & Kawhi. Special * in playoffs run to Diaw, Manu and Splitter.
I still need a name....
Him and Timmy shared the limelight in 2014. Winning 5 was a letdown, is what you're saying? Parker didn't show up against the clips, nor did Manu. Only one was Timmy. Case closed.
Yah he inflated his stats by scoring 32 in G7 against the Mavs to keep our season alive.
I have no problem with Kawhi being the 2nd option to Timmy, it's what where he's best suited at. 2014 was more of a team effort, tbh. Kawhi gets most of the credit that Finals for checking Lebron, even though he nearly averaged a triple double on 58%, while the team always gets brushed off for their part as a whole in neutralizing the others. It's no coincidence that PATFO went all out in recruiting a true alpha in Aldridge. Pop must've had second thoughts about his comments on Kawhi being the "Big One" and "future of the franchise" after seeing him struggle to pass out of double teams and being unable to do anything against a washed up Barnes.
Yes, both Parker and Ginobili were awful that series. Can't expect them to put the team on their backs after they spent the whole year adjusting to differing to Kawhi first. It completely killed the concept of team ball, which was what that roster was intended to do. This year we have a lot more people who can get their own shot![]()
Girl in your sig
