Wassup Bigzak!?
I'm back baby! I'm back!
Wassup Bigzak!?
Married With Children is still my #1 sitcom. But I can't think of anything else I'd pick over Seinfeld.
I thought The Office went way downhill when Jim and Pam hooked up. The writers on the orginal were smart enough to not have Tim and Dawn hookup until the last 15 minutes of the series so that it went out on a high note.
I've always enjoyed Seinfeld. `I really like My Name is Earl and Everybody Hates Chris too.
Married with Children was great - way ahead of it's time.
I tried watching the UK one. Didn't take.
Their humor is is dry as . Also could barely understand and identify the funny words they use.
I liked that they could tell dirty jokes in the original version, since they don't have the level of censorship we do.
Seinfeld was great. That along with Married with Children, King of Queens, Malcolm in the Middle, and 70's show were all my favorites growing up.
I couldn't get into the original The Office either in spite of the fact that I love Britcoms. I don't know if you've heard of it, but my favorite britcom is The IT Crowd----highly recommend it, it's pretty good. I believe there are 4 seasons on Netflix.
Best Britcom is Peep Show, also on Netflix. It's like Odd Couple meets Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
Still my favorite comedy of all-time. 's on TBS several times a day during the week and I watch at least 2 of them. I disagree about the jokes not holding up too.
3 straight hours on TBS in the afternoon. I don't even need the remote.
Seinfeld is funny,
Curb is in funny
Seinfeld ing rocks. Even though I've probably seen every episode a dozen or so times it still makes me laugh.
I don't know man, do you have any examples of it being era dependent? Right off hand the only episode I can think of that probably wouldn't work now is when they're at the mall and looking for their car in the parking garage, since who goes to malls now?
Yeah I agree. I don't think Seinfeld is era dependent at all. Just as funny now as it was then, maybe more so...
Can OP pls post a show from today that can stand a chance vs Seinfeld? The only 2 I can think of is the office and the one with Danny deviti. Anything else???
