he's not their best or most important player, but QB is still the most important position, in that its the only spot you cant afford to have uncertainty in. he plays it at a high (though not elite, obviously) level. he doesnt deserve to be the highest paid player in the league, but it doesnt seem like he will be

So he wants to be paid on the guarantee along the lines of Suh. I'm guessing the FO will bow soon since they also need to re-up Wagner. With Earl Thomas the 3rd out until probably October, We'll need all the starpower we can use to stay afloat.
