The Bible just another form of mythology that for some reason we decided to accept as fact. No different from Zues, Oisis, Jupiter, Odin. But, it's better to believe in something than nothing like you and other losers.
But, the Bible has nothing to do with there being that Superior Being/Designer. It's just not anything we know about. To think all this came about by chance is the ultimate example of stupidity. You the perfect example.

So what they thought was happening wasn't exactly right but they at least were trying to determine how this works without the proper equipment that they have today. Without state of the art equipment many things cannot be examined as many scientists would like to do. So they make an educated reasoning as to how things work which sometimes turn out wrong. That doesn't make science wrong it only makes them show that they need more money to get proper equipment to begin with so they don't have to make educated guesses.
