During his rookie season I said Kawhi was going to be the best player in the team, and now he is. He has won DPOY and FMVP as I predicted during his rookie year..While the mainstream vanilla Big 3 fans said otherwise.
But I think I underestiamted Kawhi.
In the next 1-4 years Kawhi is going to win a regular season MVP award.
He will ultimately be the 2nd best spur by his career end and he has a shot at becoming the best spur ever.

Kawhi is awesome btw and maybe by favorite spur, but Lol at him ever surpassing Duncan.
The only thing he hasn't achieved yet out of all my prediction is the All-star.
But he will get there...And soon enough an MVP.
I remeber the days where people laughed at me for saying he will be a top 5 spur of all time during his rookie..
and at age of 24..He already has a legit argument for top 5 spur for all time

The best player on the best team gets extra consideration (ask Curry).
KL's defense is amazing and can serve as an undeniable tiebreaker. He would have to pick up his offense a couple ticks though.
Pop could sabotage his MVP chances indeed, though.

I agree with you. With all of the options that the Spurs will have this season. I don't think that Leonard will put up the scoring numbers that the MVP award voters want to see.
I do think Leonard will have a great chance to repeat as defense of player of the year and I am hoping he will be an an all star selection this season.

Dude Tim Duncan is the greatest Spurs ever and know way he passes him in his career. I just want Kawhi to keep getting better and not get hurt. #1 Duncan, #2 Mr.Robunson, #3 ginobili and then #4 Gervin. People underestimate Manu is whole career and that guy made winning plays everytime he's on the court. If someone said which Spurs player would u want to watch live or on TV and it would be hands down Manu. Everytime he's on the court he just does that u didn't even expect. That guy is truly amazing player. When they have that NBA commericals about this is where amazing happens. I think it's because he did more amazing then anyone on the court. Know one has ever done a bounce pass thru another players legs in a live game before until Manu made a habit of it, The euro step, he just did a lot plays that u do on the playground and would never consider doing in a live game. If Kawhi can be as good as ginobili then Spurs fans should be thankful for that. Trying to pass Duncan,that is to much to ask for and no way I see it.
