This hypothetical trade, Kawhi playing SF in the weak East? The most dominant player after LeBron.
He would increase his numbers, make All-Star and All NBA teams...A lot of individual benefits playing in the Eastern Conference instead of the Wild West.
Also Kawhi bothering LeBron in regular season games and playoffs...is priceless.
But still, there is no excuse for saying Kawhi has the same ceiling than Blair, he doesn't even have offensive game and more.

We are some spoiled fans tbh. Arguing whether a player who isn't even 25 is going to be better than Duncan. There is a chance Kawhi gets better on offense. If he wins a championship and Finals MVP this year it'd be a faster trajectory than Duncan's second. Why not hope for that?
Obviously, it's extremely unlikely Kawhi's offense gets good enough to pass Duncan. Kawhi also would need to stay healthy and realize Pop doesn't have 15 more years. All of these factors matter when talking about Kawhi's long term potential.
Duncan, for me, is an all time top three talent, joining Jordan and Kareem. Duncan isn't great because of his prime alone. He was able to change his game to fit the various seasons of his career. It is extremely unlikely Kawhi has the production and longevity of Duncan. But to say he lacks the physical tools to be an MVP talent in this league is wrong. Especially the new NBA where it's harder to play defense, which Kawhi excels at. I can't wait for this season to start. After a long offseason for Kawhi to develop, only time will tell if the LMA signing helps or hurts his development. None of it matters if Duncan can't get 6.

So far the best I've seen from apo is after or during the 2013 finals he said kawhi is going to be a star. That's a good take but it's not earth shattering. Apo claims to be a day 1 fan but I read the draft response thread and he didn't post in it. He also claims to be a sdsu fan but hasn't provided any proof (it would be perverse for a young Canadian bow to follow a mid level basketball conference but he is a weird one)
Anyway, those music videos are all really vanilla. The troll threads are mostly vanilla. The troll strategy (insult the existing stars in favor of youth) is vanilla.
