Problem? I'm in a group message with some friends and one of my friends sent that post and I just copy and pasted it here. Had no idea he copied part of it from you. But I really don't give a damn. We all share the same info anyway. So please get out your feelings. Smh

Floss again has a lot of cards he does not necessarily play.
Anytime something like this comes up that does not involve recruiting please post it. And I understand the reportedly, it is still interesting even in the recruiting discussions.
That's not my info, but I'll try and post anything that's interesting.

Unfortunately, these practice situations aren't necessarily an indication of things to come.

We'll see what happens in the first scrimmage.

Based off of this tweet Grayland Arnold won't be entertaining Texas' recruiting efforts any longer, or anyone else for that matter. I like this kid but It's been said before that Briles likes for recruits to commit early and then preach loyalty as a way to make recruits feel bad about decommiting.

I thought things were looking pretty good with this one, but then he didn't visit for "Under the Lights."

I haven't read anything about him and UT since that weekend.

Haha does this kind of thing happen often? I know Tristan is quite tall but wow Roberson looks tiny in comparison.

So that got me wondering about the size/weight of our OLine.

    300lbs +
    Taylor Doyle C/OG 6-4 300
    Sedrick Flowers OG 6-2 326
    Brandon Hodges OL 6-4 308
    Patrick Vahe OL 6-2 319
    Kent Perkins OG/OT 6-5 325

    All Skinny Team:
    Garrett Thomas OL 6-6 274 (!!)
    Tristan Nickelson OT 6-9 304 (!!!)

The list doesn't include the walk-on or practice squad guys that are on the roster (non-scholly).

Those big tall dudes better put on some weight. I like that Perkins size though -- feels about right. Vahe seems physically impressive on paper for a frosh (as expected).

Just food for thought as we micro-analyze everything before South Bend.

60 lbs in weight and 6 inches in height difference makes for an unfair match.

ALERT: Breckyn Hager Turning Heads for UT

Freshman linebacker Breckyn Hager is off to a good start for the Longhorns.

When you think about Texas' 2015 linebackers class the first name that comes to mind is likely five-star Malik Jefferson, and for good reason. He looks like a future star.
    But
    Breckyn Hager
, a former three-star recruit, is going to make it hard on you to forget his name by the time this class' time on the 40 Acres is over.
Hager, the No. 80 outside linebacker in 2015 who switched commitments from Baylor to Texas, made quick work of fellow freshman, 235-pound running back Chris Warren, in the "bull in the ring" drill at Sunday's practice where Charlie Strong calls two players to the middle of a circle where the object is to get your opponent to the ground.
He then crushed a running back in a drill involving both lines, running backs and linebackers, which prompted some head turning from Jefferson and fellow linebacker Dalton Santos.
"That boy Breckyn boy," Jefferson said.
"That boy Breckyn the truth," Santos said.
This all shouldn't come as too big of a surprise for those that have followed the Longhorns, or even the Big 12. Britt Hager, Breckyn's father, is UT's all-time leading tackler. He tallied 195 tackles in 1988 [record number at Texas] and 187 in 1987.
Breckyn's brother, Bryce Hager, was a 2014 All-American at Baylor that finished his collegiate career with 322 tackles, 24 for loss and 26 QB hurries.
The future certainly seems bright for the youngest Hager.

No problem, just pointing out the absurdity of it all. No need to get defensive.

    Ugh about Cecil Cherry.

Meanwhile, Briles continues to MARK his future guys:

Wasn't there a guy recently who got like OU tats and then committed elsewhere at the deadline? C'mon guys, get the tats AFTER you've graduated.

Following up on this a bit...Scout reporting a big reason why Cherry is unhappy is the emergence of Jefferson at MLB.

They're also saying someone on his behalf is already looking at transfer possibilities and asking him to come home.

This article claims Cherry and his father have already spoken with Strong and have been granted a release:

Yep...especially with how vocal he was during recruiting.

He was criticized by the coaches recently. I'm guessing between that and the level of compe ion that he's having to face he's struggling mentally to accept that he has shortcomings/there are guys that can actually beat him out for a job. Thankfully Texas has ILB pretty shored up.

I read somewhere (I can't remember where), that there were some people telling Cherry not to commit to Texas, and they are the same, that are trying to get him to transfer. USF was mentioned by OrangeBloods. Very weird situation!

Well it's good that he was exposed as mentally weak now instead of when he was needing to be relied on. Hopefully he finds a way to overcome it and has a nice career.

It's crazy to think about it this way, but this is the natural selection of the depth chart happening at warp speed.

It usually takes two to three years to figure out how a guy is going to fit within the program.

If he's a bad fit, I'd rather we find out ASAP than have him hang around the program like several guys during Mack's tenure.
