Are you saying that I'd have to run my Iphone into an amp and then the headphones? Do you know how re ed that would be to carry that around just for a little better sound?
Pass.
I am not kidding. I got these headphones, and they are not really what I like, so I am letting them go.
I would normally sell on audio forums, but I like to make a buck, and since this place is full of people who love music and pull in $200K a year, then burn through them like Genghis Khan burn villages, I thought some of you might be interested.
Two headphones:
Audio-Technica ATH-W5000
Grado GS1000e
Name me your price, and I will consider them.
BTW, you can`t just plug these things into your iPhones and expect good sound, you have to have the gear to drive them properly (Good source, good amp).
PM me if you are interested, I can send you pictures of them and links as to how much they are worth.
I will list them here for a few weeks, then go to the audio site.

Re ed enough that there is a large market for it.
And these are not really sound isolating headphones, so they are better for home use. It`s a great alternative to having loudspeakers at home, or you can have them in your office.
And no, it`s not a "little" better sound, the difference is enormous.
I doubt they outdo my Beats for sound quality. Or at least not enough for me to want to carry around a pre-amp.
Beats. One of the most overpriced, and horribly made headphones on the market.
They are well marketed, I will give you that, and the newer versions have actually improved sound quality, but they are more a fashion statement than actual high end phones.
If you prefer mobile use and good quality, Sennheiser, V-Moda, and a bunch of in ears are way better options.
Beats, still can't get over those.
You sound sore. Beats ing rule. Yeah...they do market the out of them. And believe me, it was hard for me to think about putting any more money in Dr. Dre's pocket. But the sound
quality is about as good as you're going to get without spending over $700 or so.
Amb youre getting trolled bruh.![]()
They're Beats goddammit.
and by the way, there's no way in I'm wearing a pair of used headphones that might have gotten who knows what out of someone else's ears. You might as well be selling a used colostomy bag.
Thanks but no thanks Sergeant Nuthair.
as good as it gets.
You sound like a Leonard fan thinking he's the best SF ever.
Anyways you don't seem to be those spurs fans who are rolling in cash, which is about everyone one here.
Gimme a shout when you feel like buying quality stuff.
as good as it gets UNDER $700. I'm not saying there isn't better sound. I don't listen enough through headphones to justify paying that much. In fact, my most used pair of headphones is this pair for around $20.
Not that I get great sound but I can fall asleep and roll over on them or whatever. But most of the time I fall asleep to a podcast so it doesn't really matter.
Don't know my point there. But for what they do, the SleepSheep headphones are the . hopefully the Paparazzi doesn't break in and snap a pic of me in them.
But again, I'm not buying used headphones. It's just icky.
Sennheis or bust baby...
Do you know how re ed you are for not understanding what these are?
Better quality speakers and headphones are less efficient at making sound. They probably require 20 dB (100 times) the power to drive them.
Still, why would anyone pay $800 to $1000 for studio headphones?
I just use the ones I got for free with my iphone 3gs. They're about 8 years old but still sound better than anything OP is selling.
Show me a beats and I will show you a headphone half the price that sounds as good or better
As for used stuff, different preferences. I clean my gear all the time so they are in get condition.
Then again, you just don't have the cash so it's fine. You are not my target anyways.
These aren't speakers but they have close to the sound quality but a lot cheaper.
That's why people spend $1000 on headphones because the alternative is spending $8000 on a set of speakers.
you don't know about headphones
The art of trolling tbh.
Trolling or not in this instance, he still doesn't know about headphones.
Oh, beats trolling thats so current.....I have lowly grado 80's and i hated them until i bought third party plushy pads. The stock foam was just too brittle and required replacing every so often.
Anyway they are nice and cost less than beats. They don't even really require an amp. I don't really know about either of the two op is talking about so there's that.
Whatever. So if I don't spend $1000 in headphones, I don't know anything about headphones. This is like y'all nigs pissing on having Dominos once in a while. You probably all walk around in tuxedos with a top hat and a monacle carrying around your pre amps in an alligator attaché.
You can be a broke homeless man and still know a thing about headphones.
You can also not be an audiophile and still know quality sound.
Half of the people that put down Beats are just doing it to act like they know something and have never even heard them.
They were universally Shat upon by anyone who mattered when they came out. Have they improved... Probably. Are you paying a 20% markup for the name? At least.
The bigger issue is that op probably doesn't have $1000 ears. I know I don't.
Anyway, cry about beats all you want I don't see them ever surpassing the market leaders in the high high end and I don't see them beating grados for value.
But then plenty of people listen to music meant to played on cans. Trash in trash out.
Lol "crying" about them.
Doesn't matter anyway. I just saw a video of a humanoid robot navigating it's way through the woods fairly efficiently. We are ed.
