So it was a little premature to think he will be a quick learner of the Spurs system ...
"I don't like change," Aldridge said. "That's been a little bit difficult for me, trying to get used to a new city. I got lost like twice yesterday. That's not fun.

Needs a phone with a GPS app, tbh.

He'll be fine..

He could hire a driver; but he's much too cheap for that.
I thought he was a texas native? How do you get lost in your own state.
LMAO wtf
Toughen up, big fella
Texas is a pretty big state to be fair
get a smartphone, google maps
He got lost downtown. It's maze of one way streets.
I don't think it will take long to see if he is really in with he program. Everything sounds good to a player but when you have to actually put up in this system, some guys might not be able to.
He has done several charity events, USA basketball camp, Spurs practices (learning a new system). Yeah it's though. But that is why you get the salary you do.
Change is hard, but I am sure Timmy/Pop will toughen him up mentally. LMA really just never had a mentoring player at Portland to model himself by. Duncan had Robinson when he first entered the league, although Tim was pretty mature himself at the time. Tim has mentioned in numerous interviews that Drob did help him mature faster as a player and person.
Yeah, downtown is re ed LMAlpha.
LMAlpha poring his heart out. Big fella is a class act
A driver or a house for his shoes......
Cut the man some slack already. He's got tough decisions to make.
Pretty cool LMA takes the time to talk to media and share his relocating experience with the fans. A lesser man would probably be like I got my max contract so now I don't do media.
We just can't expect him to be Duncan.
I appreciate Aldridge's candor. It's nice to have players like him and Green to balance out Kawhi and Tim.
I was born and raised in San Antonio and I still in' get lost downtown. The struggle is real.
I avoid dt for the same reasons.

Now they're discussing LMA on SiriusXM NBA radio
Downtown is fine if you're walking imho![]()
No one way sidewalks.![]()
Yup and every good restaurant and/or tourist attraction is no more than 4-5 blocks away![]()
