Aron Baynes had a jump shot IMO
Aron Baynes (as much I really like how much he improved from coming from nowhere) was undersized for a center.

And he still dominated in the Serbia League finals and was player of the tournament. And it wasn't his foot, he had a hairline fracture in his ankle. BIG DIFFERENCE. If it was his foot, it probably would be a career ender for someone his size.
Serbian league. I'm hopeful, but it's not the NBA.

Ankle vs foot. I was being too general with the tongue in cheek humor. But, the distinction between the two isn't quite as reassuring to me as it is to you. Are you callng it? His injury, only being an ankle, and not a serious problem like a FOOT, is healed and he's got the Cowboy clean bill of health?

Maybe it isn't obvious, but we are talking about the NBA here.

Let's talk about legitimate centers. Let's just look at the Western Conference:

    Dwight Howard - 6'11"
    Marc Gasol - 7'1"
    Andrew Bogut - 7'0"
    DeAndre Jordan - 6'11"

oh... maybe you are talking about non-playoff teams....

    Rudy Gobert - 7'1"
    DeMarcus Cousins - 6'11"
    Robert Sacre - 7'0"

who the has a center listed at 6'10"??????

Yes, which means you have to take two inches off the heights of then players. So Howard is like 6-9 compared to Baynes' 6-10. Same goes for Jordan. Gasol and Bogut are both slightly taller. Cousins is the same height. Sacre sucks, and While Gobert is taller and longer, he doesn't have the same girth (a very big part of size).

Anyway, finding a handful of taller guys doesn't make Baynes undersized. He's taller than the average center. Please don't derail another thread repeatedly arguing a point on which you're clearly wrong.

    LOL "listed at"?

    hakeem was only 6'10''

    ^ clicky link

undersized centers are the ben wallaces and dejuan blairs and malik rosees of the NBA. 6'8'' guys with long arms who make their living hustling and outmuscling people.

shawn bradley meets your height requirement. was he "legitimate"?

    6'10 1/2 without shoes
    7'2 1/2 of reach
    A solid 260 lbs.

You are dumb as a ing stump if you consider that an undersized center.

Dwight Howard was an inch and a half shorter and 20 lbs lighter than Baynes according to his pre-draft measurements.

Quite a few actually, BTW Dwight's barley 6'10 in shoes (listed at 6'10 1/4).

Ben Wallace was 6'9 and he was a multiple DVOP.

Here is a photo of the team, you can tell that Baynes height is somewhere between Ayres (listed at 6'9") and Splitter (listed at 6'11"):

I always, thought Baynes was undersized in the *current* Western conference.

In fact, it looks like he's about the same height as Matt Bonner (also listed at 6'10").

Yeah... isn't Matt Bonner undersized for a center?

His height began with a "6", therefore he is "undersized".
