Yet you've been bleating that Kawhi cost us the entire series.
Nope... Again reading comprehension... I said he was part of the problem and he had a subpar serie, I never said he, alone, costed us the serie...

I agree. TP was so bad that sitting him would have increased the chances of winning.
Yup like kawhi not being outplayed by Matt Barnes or pop not pulling his hack a re stuff ... would have increased the chances of winning

All you gots think Pop went out there and shot 55% from the FT line and let Austin ing Rivers go off? Spurs were done when they met New Orleans. They had an opportunity right then, and they couldn't get it done. They were still in ring hangover mode. It lasts longer on some people. Spurs never had a Kobe type player who hates everyone on the team and does everything in his power to them over if they don't play 100% all the time. You need that to b2b, or you need dominance and the Spurs were never seasonally dominant. They were very good, but compared to the compe ion they were never a 16-0 playoff level team. Maybe they came close though. For that reason it's going to be pretty hard for any small market team to repeat. They give it all for just one. Then they relax and the owners try to save money by going back to that well over and over and they live with whatever they can pull from it.

B2B teams cannot have a turn if off/turn it own coaching style. That's how Pop coaches. He cares more about some games than others and when the team isn't in sync with him on it, they often lag behind him through a crucial game. You'd have to be on all the time, never lose, kill everyone. It's not just a game, we don't have a life outside of basketball. Sure we want to win, but we also want to eat dinner... all that , that's why the Spurs are up and down. They reach the peak and they enjoy it. They don't start back down so they can do it again, and some find that annoying.

And still with all of this we could have won so it makes it much more hurt, we still were one basket or one regular season win away from a le...
