Holy you people are absolute mouth breathers.
he's good enough to average 20 ppg... clear to see it. on another team he might. not on the spurs, especially with LMA coming aboard
Holy you people are absolute mouth breathers.
Are we sure we want Kawhi averaging 20ppg? That didn't work out too well in the playoffs last year. Would prefer him to concentrate on D and just take the easy buckets the offense gives him like in 2014 where he averaged 16.
LMAO at the re ed OP. Manu never averaged 20 ppg.![]()
Lot of instances last year when Kawhi was hot that porker decided not to feed him.
A "new poster" that thinks Kawhi would be Jordan 2.0 if it wasn't for Enrique??
Doesn't seem fishy...![]()
Thanks for admitting to being a player fan b..
Mike James had the ability to score 20ppg. PPG means little. Kawhi won't score 20 ppg next season and he doesn't need to do it over a whole season. However, it'll be needed in stretches in case of injuries and resting players.
not a matter of ability, but of cir stance ...
That didn't work well because all the team, except Duncan and Kawhi, played bad. One player can't win it alone, LeBron averaging almost 40ppg against the Warriors couldn't replace a whole team.
Kawhi is more just than a defender. He has the scoring potential-offensive versatility to be a two-way star in the league.
It wasn't a coincidence that Kawhi played great defense while carried the team on offense, his best defensive games in the series, the first 4 games, were his best offensive games too.
Re took only 7 shots in game 3 missing 5 of them, in the first games he averaged 11 points 33%FG
I've said before the Spurs need to continue improving Kawhi offensively because they won't sign a top free agent every off-season, and can't afford to become reliant on one player to score. Even having LMA as #1, they'll still need to have other primary scorer like Kawhi on the team
About his scoring average? Kawhi is electric getting physical and he'll be more effective with the increased spacing in the paint this new season.

Does every kiwi type like he's drooling over his keyboard with every stroke? Embarrassing, tbh.
Well, some players can be two-way stars, play great on both ends, others not.
No he is not. Did you not see Matt Barnes destroy that braided hair pussy?
Is Matt Barnes capable of winning a Finals MVP?
No? Then shut the up.
These s are just salty Kiwi is getting all the attention, tbh. Talk about players fans, let it go. Tony's best days are behind him, he's a role player.![]()
At best tbh.![]()
CROFL at you kiwi gots bringing a new alt aboard after the anal reaming that Brazil handed out yesterday
Kawhi will average more than 20 ppg this season. And Alcoholic will think that's fodder for 100 threads.
In my opinion as long as he stays healthy, he is going to be like Scottie Pippen. He will put up 17 to 18 points per game and play great defense his entire career. He needs to improve his passing and some of the intangibles though if he ever wants to truly reach scotties status.
Correct. When he lead the Spurs in scoring (just one season in his entire career) he averaged 19.4 IIRC
Manu probably left more stats on the table than any other player in NBA history, tbh.
Nope, Kobe did.
Are you counting all those bricks by the all-time bricker to figure that?
Agreed. Scottie Pippen was the greatest perimeter defender all time, and it's amazing the similarity between their numbers.
Per 100 possessions
Scottie Pippen, 4th season, 25 years old: 24.3 points 9.9 rebounds, 8.5 asts, 3.2 steals, 1.5 blocks, 52%TS
Kawhi Leonard, 4th season, 23 years old: 26.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, 4.1 asts, 3.7 steals, 1.2 blocks, 56.7%TS
After his 6th season, Pippen scored +20ppg for the next four seasons, I can see Kawhi reach that scoring level after the Big3 are gone.
