The more herts your TV has the best thing is a myth. Don't buy into that.
Fact is, you don't need more than the standard 60 hertz. You can't speed up an image if the source inherently tops out at 60 frames per second. With today's technology TVs are no longer suffering from the ghosting effect. This was something that happened with the early models of when HDTVs were coming out. That's really a non issue these days.
I have 2 37 inch 1080p Vizios and a 40 inch JVC. Both 60hertz and all 3 look beautiful. Although the Vizios tend to have more deeper and darker colors than the JVC.
