Just Thursday for right now.
The Pats are 9-1 in home openers the last 10 years. The Steelers a woeful 0-4 in their last 4 first road game of a new season. That is a hefty 13-1 trend favoring the Pats in this "spot" I am talking SU.
Now add, the Pats are 5-2 on Thursdays, the Steelers 7-6.
No logical reason to back the Steelers in this "spot".
Battle of the #1 and #2 picks.
God I hope we can get this game....
Dat defense should be able to make up for Winston's 3 turnovers
I can easily see us losing against the stealers, Tom barely practiced and we have one of the worst secondaries in the league and we are facing one of the best receiver-qb combinations
more like battle for the next #1 pick. Who loses is the actual winner.
The Suxton for Braxton sweepstakes?
I'd feel much more comfortable about our week 1 bengals match up if we got them on a national TV game. Dalton would be sure to implode
Should be a shootout. With no Blount, gameplan will have to be to throw more - especially against a weak Steelers defense. Sucks for Brady that his wideout situation looks pretty damn bleak. I would have to say with what you mentinoed above, I can see PIT winning too.
I worry about a slow start for Tom for the same reason. I drafted Brady (pre-ruling) and Bradford. Part of me thinks we will see eff you mode from Brady and the Pats but NE's secondary and WR corps makes me nervous. Plus, he may be rusty.
If faced with Brady at home vs. Steelers or Bradford on road vs. ATL who do you start?
crapshoot really, both options should be top 5. Actually all 4 qbs should be in the top 5 imo.
Good luck. I'm road tripping with friends to Starkville this weekend for the LSU game. We didn't get our warm up game in last weekend so I can definitely see you guys upsetting us.
yeah...
That's what everybody is saying. I can definitely see how not playing Week 1 is going to hurt The Tigers. We got punched in the mouth by Southern Miss last week. Those guys were running trick plays every series...surprise onside kicks...basically it was their "Super Bowl".
They always say that you improve the most from Weeks 1 to 2....but we'll see how it goes. We're better at QB and LSU is better at every other position.
Anyways...enjoy your time in StarkVegas.![]()
YEAAAAAAAAH!!!! FOOTBALL SEASON!!! TOO BAD MY TEAM IS GOING TO SUCK THE BIG ONE THIS YEAR, BUT WILL WATCH IT ANYWAY!!!
nah, Colon Cap is going to lead them back into the playoffs this year, don't forget they're just a year removed from an almost-nfc le
no fukin way
yet the Panthers are going to blow.... gtfo fgt
The Steelers Defense should shut Brady down tonight. Steelers will bring back the glory days of dominant defense starting tonight. Too much talent. Steelers win 24-13.
Tom Brady is going to be really rusty. He didn't look good against Carolina.
I got St. Louis winning in an upset week one. They are going to be tough this year. I bet Gurley goes for 1300.
