Depends on the middle class tbh. If there are enough opportunities for the new population to enter the middle class like generations before, everything will be fine. We'll see if wages rise again after this unprecedented period of low interest rates.
But the quality of life for middle class in the USA is declining. You could argue the goal of the American Elite is to dumb down the Middle Class. They are succeeding.
