Sorry, you can tout that analysis all you like and I may agree with some of the findings in general; it doesn't change the fact that I simply want stats to be collected by the FBI like they do with most other things regarding crime. Don't you?

one surrep ious video in a small-town Georgia court has led to an overhaul of court practices there. The video showed the judge threatening to jail traffic violators who could not come up with an immediate payment toward their fines.
“You can pay what you have, you can call whoever you need to call, go to an A.T.M. if you need to, do what you need to do,” Judge Richard A. Diment of Bowdon Municipal Court said to one defendant. “Call friends, call family, call your employer. But until you get $300 here tonight, you won’t be able to leave.” The defendant said she had recently begun working at a supermarket and had $150 with her.
To another defendant, a man who said he had been unemployed for two years and received food stamps, Judge Diment said: “You’re going to have to figure out a way to get this paid, do you understand me? Or you’re going to go to jail. One or the other. You understand?”
Neither defendant had a lawyer.
The United States Supreme Court has held that people cannot be jailed for failing to make a payment if they are unable to pay, but advocates for indigent defendants say that in many jurisdictions, meaningful assessments of ability to pay are rare. In Georgia, poor defendants are supposed to have access to a court-appointed lawyer if they face jail or probation.

Well aware of this. Unarmed killings aren't an official stat kept by the but at least three different sources gave essentially the same figures. Each scoured news reports, and official press releases to come to that number. There have been at least 62 unarmed people killed in 9 months of 2015. 25 Black (40% of victims), 15 Hispanic (25% of victims), 14 White (22.5% of victims) , 8 others (13 percent of victims).
Even if that number were actually ,say, 82 and the additional 20 victims race broke down similar to the census population percentages of those three races (53% White, 13% Black, 17% Hispanic)...
Blacks-27 (33%) +2
Whites-24 (29%) +10
Hispanics-18 (22%) +4
Blacks would still make up 1/3 of all unarmed victims. Black and Hispanics would make up 53% of all victim and the largest racial group wouldn't even crack 30 %. The Data may not be kept at a federal level but it still shows blacks and Hispanics make up a wildly disproportionate percentage of unarmed victims at the hands of the police.
If you don't trust police involved killing data then why come back at me with your stats? Seems like you didn't have a comeback and decided to drop the "federal mandate" card.

I live in CA wit. All my guns are registered by law and I have no problem with it. Don't have a problem at the Nationsl level either.

The family of an autistic teen is speaking out after he was violently arrested, and rendered unconscious by Metro Transit Police while traveling home after working at the Minnesota State Fair. Marcus Abrams is an apprentice with Urban Boatbuilders, a youth organization, and had been exhibiting his work at the Minnesota State Fair. On his way home, an encounter with the police left the teen beaten and unconscious.
During the incident, Abrams, 17, suffered two seizures after police used force against him at the Green Line’s Lexington Parkway Station. The attack resulted in a split lip and lacerations on his face and head, according to his mother,
The teen suffers from Asperger’s syndrome, which causes him to strongly dislike being touched or having people in his person space, and is considered legally blind, wearing extremely magnified glasses, according to Caldwell.
Caldwell said that upon approaching her son it should have been plainly obvious to the officers that her son had disabilities.
“If they had training with dealing with an autistic child or someone like an Alzheimer’s patient … it would seem they would have known how to handle him better than they did,” Caldwell told the Pioneer Press on Wednesday.
Abrams was standing on the train tracks moments before police approached him. When police initially approached, the teen was wearing headphones and couldn’t hear everything police said, with officers then accusing him of using drugs or being intoxicated.
“One grabbed my arm and the other one grabbed my wrist and I told them to get off me — I did nothing wrong,” Abrams told KARE 11. “They just slammed me right on the ground. I tried to get them off me and (one officer had his) whole body on my whole face and I couldn’t breathe.”

It would be nice to have official stats but I have doubts about it happening within the next couple of years. Body Cameras also need to become a necessity. In order to prosecute the police officers who murder unarmed citizens the cover it up.
