Actually, they both screwed up. The cops should be sued for wrongful arrest and not allowing the kid an opportunity to contact his legal guardian. The school for suspending him after they found out that it was just a clock and not a bomb. This kid will get a fat settlement that should take care of his college expenses - the Texas taxpayer will pick up the tab.

^^Airports have explicit rules about which items are allowed and prohibited on a plane, especially metallic objects. This was a school. One with a science department, believe it or not. I remember taking circuit boards to class back in the day. 9-11 really has broken America - you are so eager to allow basic liberties to be curtailed by the state thanks to the constant paranoia around you.

That kid is probably too smart for public school. Hopefully, he goes somewhere that has better enclosures and materials for his electronics projects.

Facebook Post a Police Chief Penned on Black Lives Matter That Led to His Sudden Retirement

Open letter from a Police Chief , this Black Lives Matter group is nothing more than an American born terrorist group brought on by the lie of the hands up don’t shoot during the criminal thug Michael Brown incident.

The FBI and other Government Law Enforcement groups need to step up and put a stop to this. The Government and blacks would not tolerate the White Supremacist group to march through the streets and call for the murders of a race of people and a group of public servants. I agree there is a race problem in this country.

It is not brought on by police officer doing their sworn duty, it is brought on by the government, the President and his cronies Al Sharpton, who is a criminal tax evader (but has the support of our so called President), Jessi Jackson, Eric Holder and that ignorant S.O.B. Farrakhan who should be charged with solicitation for murder, lord knows a white man would be arrested for the same actions of idiot Farakhan.

I am sure there are many hard working Black people who will agree with me. I have been a Police Officer for 35 years. I do not judge anyone by the color of their skin, but by there actions.

A criminal is a criminal whether a police officer or any other profession. I will not state statistics because black lives matter do not care or believe proven statistics. I put allot of the blame for these cop murders on the media and the way they report police related shootings. There is no need to list or even state the race of a person shot by the police. It is more important to wait for the facts and report those.

But and a big but that does not make money for these greedy media ass holes. When a black thug is killed by the police they are all over it as is Mr. Barack Obama. However when a police officer white, black or any race is murdered for doing his job the media is short with it’s reporting or not at all. When a white person is killed by a black officer you hear nothing.

Has our so called President spoke publicly about these murders of police officers by blacks, NO he has not. Step up Mr. President, or step down because we do not need you. Has our Attorney General spoke against these murders, no of course not because she was appointed by Barack Obama. Now let me say this, and this is not a threat but common knowledge. I have instructed my officers to be vigilant, if threatened take appropriate action. If that means shoot a thug, then do it and answer for it while you are still alive not dead. Law Enforcement is fed up with this murderous society who want to take out those who protect and serve. Imagine if all law enforcement shut down for just 1 day. There would be murders, rapes, robberies, you name it. America wake up, all of you black, white, Mexican whatever you need the police, we do not need you. End this Black Lives Matter bull and start a movement that all lives matter. As for the New Black Panther movement who wants to kill whites and cops, go for it, we are ready for you. You take one of us and there will be 100 who will step up and end you. This letter is not meant to offend anyone, just the feelings of a man who has spent the last 35 years of his life serving and protecting, for what so a thug can take it or to be treated as a criminal by the very people I swore to protect. Let’s get this around folks so maybe our President and the media will get a wake up call. Be safe all of my Brothers and Sisters in blue, not white, black, yellow or brown BLUE.

NYPD Union Chief: Civilians “Not Qualified” To Criticize Copd

The president of the largest NYPD union has stepped up to defend the officer that roughed up Black retired tennis star, James Blake.

Patrick Lynch, president of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, said in a written statement that critics of officer James Frascatore are “not qualified” to judge the actions of police officers during arrests.
As reported by Capital New York, Lynch issued a public statement addressed to “all of those inclined to jump to conclusions,” which seemed to be pointed most especially at the media.

Lynch’s words were also sharply aimed others who have openly decried the NYPD’s record of police brutality, yet the union head stood by Frascatore despite his record of complaints filed by citizens he’s manhandled in the past.
    From Capital New York:

In his letter, Lynch said Frascatore was being unfairly judged.

“If you have never struggled with someone who is resisting arrest or who pulled a gun or knife on you when you approached them for breaking a law, then you are not qualified to judge the actions of police officers putting themselves in harm’s way for the public good,” he wrote.

“The men and women of the NYPD are once again disheartened to read another knee-jerk reaction from ivory tower pundits who enjoy the safety provided by our police department without understanding the very real risks that we take to provide that safety,” Lynch also wrote.

Frascatore has been placed on modified duty amid an ongoing probe, officials have said.

Frascatore’s takedown of Blake, which was captured on hotel security video released by the NYPD last week, was criticized this morning by Ray Kelly, who led the NYPD for 12 years during the Michael Bloomberg administration. In an interview with WNYC’s Brian Lehrer, Kelly — no ally of Bratton or de Blasio — agreed that Frascetore’s behavior appeared inappropriate.

Blake wasn't resisting arrest (which is a frequent LIE from cops to cover their beating the out of someone). He was Standing Still While Black

‘I think he’s still hungry': Florida cops allegedly order gruesome K-9 attack on graffiti artists

Two Florida street artist have filed a lawsuit in federal court alleging that two Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies ordered a dog in the K-9 unit to eat them.

Humberto Pellegrino and Pedro Claveria explained this week that they had snuck into Pompano Beach train yard to paint train cars when a sheriff’s helicopter and deputies with assault rifles showed up.

The men admitted that they initially hid under one of the trains, but they said that they quickly tried to surrender, WPLG reported.

“There was a dog and I saw an assault rifle and I was like, ‘Oh wow, I think those are the cops,'” Pellegrino recalled. “We complied, we never tried to run, we never ran an inch from where we were at.”

The deputies arrest report, however, claimed that the men did not comply with orders to come out from under the train.

Claveria called that a “bold lie.”

“I came out and the first thing I said was, ‘Here are my hands, I’m sorry, I give up,'” he insisted.

According to Claveria, Deputy Gerald “Gerry” Wengert pointed an assault rifle at his head while BSO Detective Davis Acevedo ordered the K-9 unit to attack.

“It was him ripping into me and gnawing,” Claveria pointed out. “I’ve never had an animal attack me that way and it felt like it was never going to stop.”

The deputies asserted in the arrest report that the dog had to also be let loose on Pellegrino because he refused to surrender. But Pellegrino argued that wasn’t true.

“One said, ‘I think he’s ready to eat again,’ and someone said, ‘Oh, I think he’s still hungry,” Pellegrino remarked, observing that he had two choice: “Either sit here and let this dog eat you or do something stupid and get shot in the head.”

The deputies then moved the dog to his other leg, Pellegrino said.

“They kept saying, like, ‘Eat, boy. Eat, boy,’ And they were pulling the dog back every time he would latch onto me so not only was I being bit, but torn.”

Attorney David Brill, who is representing Pellegrino and Claveria, compared the attack to “seeing a knife wound in battle.”
