Damn, Applesauce is really losing his over not watching that game.
fal·ter
ˈfôltər/
verb
start to lose strength or momentum.
He played like a superstar the first 4 games or so then didn't, so pretty sure faltered is an appropriate term for what happened. I called the fact that he faded disappointing too after the Clippers series so not sure wtf you are going on about...28% or whatever Kawhi shot to end the series is terrible. I wouldn't defend it because I'm not a blind player fan. You OTOH have yet to acknowledge that 29% is terrible, instead arguing that hestats lie and he didn't actually play that bad if you watched the game
.
You're a French homer who's judgement is clouded by the fact that Rique is your hero tbh.
You're an italian hater whose judgement is clouded by the fact that you hate Tony Parker and that you seemingly don't understand the concept of turning games around and the importance of gaining momentum for your team.
Just after changing a 31-34 trail into a 40-34 lead by scoring 9 pts, he had a steal, an assist and 4 free throws to seal the game at the beginning of the 2nd half.
he shot 29% ? Ok
He made his team win ? Much better in my opinion.
I"ll take that any day of the week
I"ll leave it at that, clearly you're not able to understand this
Lebron shot poorly much of the time in the finals but was called brilliant.

29% is a long ways from 40%, plus LeBron wasn't facing Latvia.![]()
yastart to lose strength or momentum is quite different of terrible, thanks for the confirmation... If terrible is an appropriate term for Parker's 29% then terrible is appropriate for Kawhi Leonard last 3 games of clippers serie.
You spent your time defending it tho
I acknowledge 29% is terrible
I also acknowledges he was French best player this game because I watched the game you did not... his shooting sucks during this euro, I've said it numerous times and you would recognize it if you were honest. like I also acknowledged the fact parker was the worst PG of the POs last year and KL the bed against a ing noob like Matt Barnes
What on top saying Parker was worst PG of the POs one of worst NBA starter last year could please you ? Wishing him death or wishing a career ending injury ?gtfo tbh
When you play like a God for 4 games then suck the last 3, faltered is appropriate. When you suck all the time like current version Enrique does it's not appropriate because he never had any strength or momentum to begin with. Anyways here's another post of mine after the LAC series, I had no problem saying Kawhi underperformed the last three games:
Also if you agree that 29% is terrible then wtf are you arguing and defending it for? I could understand if he shot in the low to mid 40s, where watching the game might be necessary to really gauge his performance...but when you shoot 29% no amount of game watching will change how terrible that is especially against an opponent like Latvia. Not to mention the fact that most of his baskets were low percentage midrange jumpers/3s, his speed isn't coming back which is a terrible sign for what kind of play we can expect this season.

Actually, France got the lead when Parker heated up in the second quarter, then in the second half France domintated so he didn't need to do much.
Regardless of that, I was a little worried about him not getting to the lane. It was all jumpers (even in that good stretch in the second quarter). This is the first France game I've seen on this tournament, how has he been doing in general?

29% is terrible as you said it after a good game or not.
When Parker underperformed game 6 at 6/23 after a god game 5 (10/14) against heat I'm pretty sure you did not use disappointed or faltered but threw your usual hate diarrhea. You are the king of the double standard.
I'm defending it because it's classical case of cherry picking, 29% when you add 3s and FTs is in fact 49%. Plus if OP wants to discuss about TP performance why not mentionning the rest of the stats like the 6 assists or go the route despite shooting poorly Parker lead France to a win ?
If somebody of the krew had watched the game you would have realized, France started very poorly. After Parker 9 pts run, energy and enthusiasm spread through the team. Dude shifted momentum for France, defense stepped up and Latvia ended scoring 2/18 after.
For the rest I'm waiting for the reason why you consider I'm a blinded homer.
So I'll ask again: What on top saying Parker was worst PG of the POs one of worst NBA starter last year could please you ? Wishing him death or wishing a career ending injury ?
the flag under FkLA avatar is a mexican flag tho brah
tbh fwiw
You realize faltered is not a good thing, right? If it bothers you that much I'll flat out say Kawhi disappointed and underperformed the last 3 games of the series. I'm not a player fan so I'm not going to be ridiculous and defend Kawhi's 28% shooting. I'll leave that to you guys with Rique.

No, cherry picking would be if he shot a high percentage and I brought up his few misses. You're actually the one cherry picking the small, good stretch in an otherwise ty performance.
Quit being so dramatic. It's ing Latvia, France would've found a way to win even without Porker going hogwild for a couple of minutes. I also love how you give him credit for unquantifiable like energy and enthusiasm. Head over to LakerGround and you'll hear similar tales about how Kirby's few baskets and underbite energizes the team. I swear you French Rique fanboys sound more and more like them every day.If somebody of the krew had watched the game you would have realized, France started very poorly. man, only on this board is being French considered to be bad..
of course only on this board do people get emotional over the GOAT spurs PG under-performing in a win.
Of course we got a bunch of under emotional young men and functionally worthless trolls. god bless the spurs nation.
