Same. He has been awful this year. He shouldn't have been out there after Notre Dame picked him apart.
We need to heavily recruit OL, DL, and LB in the next few years and really build this defense up.

Because I think Haines is a liability.
I agree it was a bad call, though.
the guy who slung heard down by his facemask is the one who should have been tossed. I couldn't believe they put that fourth quarter together after being beat down so bad in the 3rd. They need to free Heard a bit more, but damn he did great.
Seeing highlights on ESPN
every Texas guy has a celebration after TD. These Austin fks think they are Rock stars.
The horror.
It was a complete game. The coaches, the offense and the defense all contributed to the loss. Then IMO Texas does not have a player who would start for Cal.
OrangeBloods saying 2017 DT Marvin Wilson went to LSU yesterday instead of going to Austin.
And no surprise, but 24/7 reporting DE Rahssan Thornton cancelled again.
Called it. All these LSU guys are just toying around, probably at the command of Miles who is a known wackjob. Conspiracy theory, yes, but the proof is in the pudding. That's two weekends in a row for these guys and it all just smells of Lampkin-esque scandal.
Heard was running for his life on some of these plays.
I repeat, he will not last the year if the Oline plays poorly and he has to do what he did last night.
Our Dline also stunk. We got some confidence now but the schedule toughens up. When other teams see what Heard can do they will game plan for his scrambles. OUr Oline must help out here. And it's astounding practice did not reveal the difference between his ability compared to Swoopes. What the were the coaches watching?
Heard was awesome.
Couldn't stop lolsmh at the extra point miss tho
.............because lsu looking like a probable playoff team & texas with a legit possibility of being 1-5 has nothing to do with it

Looking like the line for the OK State game opened up at OK State -5.
If someone says one thing but then does another thing repeatedly you gotta think it's pretty deliberate and actively misleading. It's nearly malicious. With a guy like Thornton who is already committed -- why even say you're going to visit? And then not? Twice (or more) in a row? It just doesn't add up.
My service showed a near-universal opening at -4 and the line is already -5 at several major books. Okie State getting pounded hard early on -- probably rightfully so considering the statistics must be enormously in their favor.
Vegas is tempting everyone to take UT+5. I think Okie St wins by 10+ imo
Per OrangeBloods, WR Collin Johnson is out for the year with a shoulder injury.
He still plans on enrolling at UT in January.

Update on ATH Lil'Jordan Humphrey of Southlake Carroll after attending the Cal game (24/7):
“It was a great game,” Humphrey said. “Texas fought really hard, and it was just an incredible game to watch. Texas has always been high on my list, so I can’t say if this visit changed anything with them."
“I just got a feeling of what gameday is like there, which is why I want to make the visit, and I really liked it.”
“They really spread the ball around,” Humphrey said. “They get the ball to their playmakers when needed, so I could possibly see myself fitting into their offense.”
