Flacco with two game-ending picks in back-to-back weeks. If the team wins the next two games, they're right back in it. But that's going to be a tall order. Have no idea why Babin didn't play, as Smith and McClellan didn't really do anything positive.

I'm not kidding you, on a 3 and 9 Ryan challenged that Taylor threw the ball out of bounds and that he did not run out of bounds (7 yard short of a first down) as was ruled on the field.
So he wasted a challenge in an attempt to lose yards? I know he is a derensive- minded coach, but still...

neither team's pass rush was doing anything. for baltimore it's understandable... but it's disappointing for Mack (who was apparently cramping up) with monroe out

im not really gna pin blame on flacco for that last pick, he had 25 seconds to get a TD drive. but the errant throw to smith on the previous possession was a killer. should have been an easy touchdown

cutting a playoff-winning QB like Tebow, opting to start one of the biggest busts in recent NFL history instead

Yeah, it's really a shame that somebody has to lose that game

Seriously, good win though. I like to see the bottom-feeders do well from time to time....

Now only if Washington somehow convinced jerruh that rg3 was his lord and savior and traded for him then this season for the Cowboys would match the 49er retirement train.

I know you didn't like it....but the 0-10 start to the season last year was great for the rest of us. It gave us all this gem:

I actually am happy for the Raiders. Would be VERY happy had they moved to SA though. Anyway, Ravens fans are proclaiming doom, and I don't agree with that. The team's offense looked pretty good today, and they'll look better as their guys gained experience. The team lacks a secondary pass-rusher, but besides that the D is interesting. Kendrick Lewis seems like a bust of Michael Huff proportions. Should have known better than to sign away a Houston player who actually had a good reputation with the fans.

Flacco for the most part was getting what he wanted, and Forsett was pretty effective. i did think the ravens were gifted some PI/illegal contact calls though. the announcers made a note of that a couple of times

On another note, Palmer and the Cardinals picking up where they left off last year. Best team in the NFL before Palmer went down.

I can't believe that the Bucs have a better outlook than the Ravens, though. If Jameis can be even remotely competent, Tampa can make some noise. Oh and if McCoy can stop his Mr. Glass impression.
