The NFC West is so weak in part because Seattle was 7-9 a few years back... Peyton might win MVP cause he threw for 50 in Indy
We have two games where our teams face off next weekend.
N.C. State goes to Mobile next Saturday night to face my school South Alabama and obviously Saints and Panthers meet.
BTW, hope your Yanks beat the Jays this week so the Royals can maintain the lead for top seed in the AL.
Yeah and that team has since been to two straight Super Bowls...and was a couple yards away from winning both of them.
I know you're a die-hard Panthers fan...and you want to win a "great" division. But, the NFC South is not that. Carolina is a good team...but the Bucs have been awful for a long time now. The Saints seem to be on the downward spiral right now. And the Falcons are well...the Falcons.
Not arguing that the Panthers are in the driver's seat to win the division...I just disagree that the NFC South is somehow a "good" division. It's not. Yeah, 4 bad teams can make the division "compe ive"...but the Saints were the last "dominant" team in the division to win a SB. Then you've got to go back a long time to the Bucs SB win...
Laughing at your own posts.....smh.
It was a good division before last season. The Saints and Panthers were very good in 2013. The Falcons almost made the Super Bowl in 2012 though the rest of the division was average. The 2011 Saints should have made it to the Super Bowl and the Falcons were a playoff team as well. In 2010, the Falcons, Saints, and Bucs each won 10 games.
No need to bother. He's in that "everyone is no life" stage.
South Alabama is a scary sleeper team.. I saw some of their game yesterday.. It was close.
i have a hard time seeing the Saints going 0-3
Today....Right Now....what letter grade would you give the NFC South.
You're picking and choosing great years by teams. Bucs went 2-14 last year...that's gotta be factored in the overall equation. Carolina goes 12-4...wins the division...but their 7-8-1 season must be factored in also.
I know that the division has been good before...but right now...I'm not seeing it. And I always that it was cool/funny how the last place team would win the division the following year.
Yeah...because I bring it up all the time don't I. How many times have I done it? Including the one just now...what is it up to 2 times now?
Find me that post I made where I posted cats also.
It was bad. Cam made plays with his legs though, so I'll give him credit.
Prolly gonna drop to 0-3 unless they get Foster back. That offense looks baaad right now. I mean, Mallett had 58 attempts.![]()
Brees is most likely out for a few games with a sprained shoulder. Could tell he was injured yesterday with how the ball was coming out.
Saints backup QB`s though![]()
511 Yards and 7 touchdowns (tied for most in NFL history); the best game of his career. What a decline.
You mutha er. I was gonna look for this thread later. Harlem, get your ass in here.
There's nothing that Brees can't do on the field now than he could do in the past.
As long as he's healthy and has a decent o-line, he's still elite.
He looks great lately, I'll give him credit..not sure what he's doing differently, this is the best he has looked in like a year and a half..
I wish Manning would take the same PEDs, tbh..
Saints should make the playoffs, at least..impressive turnaround, looked like it was going to be a 5-11 season..
Besides the PEDs he and Ben Watson are using, the offensive line has become very good with the addition of Max Unger and a healthy Jahri Evans.
Ben Watson is proving how much Graham was a product of the Saints offense.
Drew Brees is one of my favorite quarterbacks, ever. Good to see him playing well again.
I thought I read earlier in the season that he had a shoulder or arm injury? Is that correct?
He has a bruised rotator cuff. Its getting better, but still not 100% healthy.
That makes this previous game even more impressive. Hopefully the Saints can make the playoffs.
This is why ya don't over react like most of you do from week to week.
Brees decline?, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Despite missing a game this season:
4,870 Passing Yards (1st in NFL, 6th Passing le Of Career, NFL Record)
32 TDs (7th in NFL)
68.3 Completion Percentage (2nd in NFL)
101.0 Passer Rating (6th in NFL)
