The day 2k first came out, I remember buying it and being completely overwhelmed. I knew then that was the demise of NBA Live because it was so inferior to 2k which was just in the beta stages as far as programming. They were light years ahead of EA

not as bad as the game, nonetheless. There's a reason NBA live series has been basically nonexistent since Live 08 tbh.
Just a consistently awful series of games. Personally, i don't know how EA is still alive as a business. Maybe The Sims saved their asses or some other game series. Other than that, they need to be buried.
Funny thing is they even snatched up one of the lead designers from the 2k series too
EA claims that final game avatars will be "better" but they've already doomed themselves w/ this .. Got players chiming in on Twitter and .. they're ed, might as well delay the game this year and release Live 17 instead
