Will listen to this tom...
Lowe is easily the best out there right now...

On Lowe's podcast..just stating the obvious, tbh..
90s ball
nostalgia
Heat-Knicks games
Reggie Miller being a franchise player
John Starks
old men in their 30s and 40s yearning for no-skill goons like Charlie Oakley

Will listen to this tom...

He is. He also think Spurs are the favorites once Aldridge adjusts, unlike some Spur fans ...
Not even close with the way Parker looks and Ginobili's inability to play more than 20 minutes, tbh..
You can make the argument the Spurs are the best team, but I think Cleveland has to be the favorites since they'll only have to beat one good team en route to a le whereas the Spurs, Warriors, and Clippers will have to beat each other before getting to Cleveland.
. Did you even read the article you linked yourself?
pretty much what I said and Lowe says in the article ...
Yes, Amb I read's Lowe's stuff on the regular ...
Oakley was actually a skilled player considering he was a great rebounder and defensive player. He also had a good mid range jumsphot that allowed him to average around 10-14 points. At his height of 6'9 he would be a very productive player in this current small ball era. If you want to talk about a no skill goon I would mention Perkins who is still in the league despite having no talent other then taking cheap shots.
I have no interest in listening to a pussy that's never played. I'd rather listen to a pretty woman... that sucks too.
Oh here we go with the 90's bashing. And we need not open the can of worms about no skills goons, not with the amount that have played since the turn of the century.
That said, Heat-Knicks was brutal to watch but Suns-Sonics circa 1993 was a blast.
It was predictable, that's why the league changed the rules to allow more offensive options and let players with marginal offensive skills be threats.
So ing predictable....
unlike nowadays.... Where James Harden either flops going to the paint, or flops taking a jumper. Curry can look like a got on estrogen one day, then he can look like a tranny another. Chimpbrook has two options when he goes to the paint, an uncontested layup or free throws if he gets touched.
Aids Johnsons pampering was as sickening as Harden, Kobmes, Curry etc.
today's NBA
They were plenty of exciting playoff series during the 90's. The OP nitpicked when he picked the knicks-heat matchup to promote his anti-90's agenda. You had Rockets-Suns,Rockets-Sonics those were exciting series. I would say early 90's Blazers were an exciting playoff team to watch. 90's Blazers,Rockets,Suns,Sonics,Spurs,Jazz,Magic,Bulls , Knicks vs Pacers were all fun to watch.
- ISO BALL
- Majority of players are terrible at the most needed skill ( shooting)
- Kyle Anderson would dominate the 80's and 90's!
- Expansion Teams![]()
I was going to respond, but I fell asleep halfway through this post, tbh. '90s ball is a more powerful cure for insomnia than Lunesta and Ambien combined.
The only thing missing in that picture is Richard Jefferson.
Cmon, you have a guy on your team that airballs wide open layups for sake![]()
Trust me I feel the same way about the current Eastern conference. Can't think of any exciting team out in the East worth watching.
