lol
- The division isn't very strong this year with the Eagles taking several step backwards. Cowboys did a masterful job of wearing out Murray's legs last year, but the problem with Philly goes well beyond the rushing situation. Replacing Bradford with Sanchez won't work, either. I could definitely see the magic record to win the NFC East being 10-6 or even 9-7 this year.
- 9-7 / 10-6 and a 4th seed would be just perfect for the road warrior Cowboys who are elite at home and average on the road. Imagine drawing Seattle -- a mediocre road team -- in the 4 vs 5 matchup and then the Cowboys winning that and playing the rest of the playoffs on the road. The revenge game @ Lambeau will be a sight to behold. Winning 13 games like so many Cowboys fans hoped going into the season would be counterproductive due to being an iffy home team.
- The best news for the Cowboys is the entire band (sans Scandrick) should be back in November. The defensive armada returns in mid-October, Dez in late October, and Romo in early or mid November. The stats won't look great for our stars this year playing a fraction of a season, but rest could really pay off in the end. And the depleted defense is already good enough to hold down the fort right now -- better than in quite awhile.
- More to come!
Tank for fournette because that rb committee is pure dog
Read an article yesterday that said he can't come to the league until season after next.
Better shot than your team even with a backup QB. LOL
In the end they'll all be in the same place but the Niners and Raiders will have better draft picks.
lol taking the raiders castoffs... mcfadden and brice butler
now all u gotta do is sign christian ponder
who else will in the nfc least? sam bradford and TOSB Murray with their swiss cheese offensive line?![]()
Think Redskins can give the Cowboys a run for their money they way they have been outplaying teams these past two weeks. I think they will go somewhere between 7-9 or 9-7 they have a very good offensive line now, and two very good running backs and the defense hasn't been too bad against two very good teams the first two games. They could be easily 2-0 right now.
Redskins always give cowboys a tough time...as a cowboy fan I wouldn't count the Redskins out...
blessing in disguise
associating a blessing with Weeden
Weeden drives bus without crashing for two quarters, fans call it "blessing"
gtfo
I wouldn't say dog , but our RB's are all better suited for catching passes..McFadden has looked like the best runner, but that isn't saying much
Could be worse...you could have Houston's RB's...which are all just a notch above the practice squad.
Foster should be back in a couple weeks at least
I don't get why we don't run McFadden as our bell cow. He's built similarly to Murray and doesn't have the recent wear and tear that Murray has. Randle is too small to be a primary RB.
Also, lol at the Redskins competing in the division. Their quarterbacks are worse than Weeden and their defense is still trash.
McFadden did little after contact compared to Randle through most of the game.
