Ahmed did. He said he wanted to impress all of his teachers.

Ahmed did. He said he wanted to impress all of his teachers.
Argumentum ad cabroni aka cuckposting.
Eh, maybe he intended to show it to the teacher at some point and was showing to the kid first. IIRC he was showing to people through the course of the day.
Furious re posting^
If you have nothing to add to the actual discussion, I'll just let you keep going on your own.
I suppose it's possible. I can't imagine wanting to show that to anyone but a STEM teacher. Even then, if he's really smart, he would've known that it wouldn't impress them. Oh well.
Argumentum ad butthurtdum
Again, I think you are trying to ascribe a rather jaded, middle aged, 9/11 mindset to a 14 year old kid.
Ok, that was funny.![]()
And there you go....
Meh, I was 14 once and I now have a 14 yr old.
So consider what actual 14 year olds are like.
are evil misdeeds outside of the realm of possibility?
http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/natio...232893911.html
So now you're saying Ahmed carried out evil misdeeds?
But you just said you don't believe he was trying to impress the English teacher. Make up your mind.
strawman. You are limiting the scope of what a 14 yr old is capable of, i'm merely expanding it. If 14 yr olds are capable of evil, they can also be capable of petty to general mischeif.
I am asking you directly what you think, gtown.
You have done everything but say what you actually think happened here.
Now you are walking back to suggesting it was general mischief?
Use your words.
you're a re playing with words you don't understand.
Again, I never said I believe he wanted to impress his teachers. That's what he claims.
Yeah, my 14 yr old can actually build things (computers, etc.) and would not be impressed by disassembled clock-in-a-box.
How does he build a computer?
Why did you assume "he"?
Piecing together compatible components still requires more skill than disassembled clock-in-a-box.
lulz
Today, Mohamed’s family announced that they had hired two attorneys to help retrieve the science project from Texas police. However, BuzzFeed reports, police say that they already notified the family that the clock is available for pickup—and has been since last week, when the case against Mohamed was closed.
Mohamed can stop by weekdays between 6 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., when he isn’t making appearances on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, as he is tonight.
Still trying to appear persecuted.
