it's cracking me up how many people loaded up on Thursday night players because they couldn't wait. I'm thinking it should be another easy money week
Yep..those Thursday games are usually bad, so it makes sense to play the Thursday games in tournaments without actually taking any Thursday players..

Those are the best to play in.

Half of the league uses every player they can from the Thursday night game and are done before Sunday even starts. I'm convinced they think they have to use all of the Thursday night guys, can't figure out any other reason to do so.

    Outside of AB I don't have a reliable WR2

    I'm going for the HR
My WRs are embarrassing in my fantasy league..

    - Keenan Allen
    - Donte Moncrief
    - Kendall Wright
    - James Jones
    - Charles Johnson

I've been trying to make a trade for weeks, no biters..I was feeling pretty good about Allen after week 1, but that was short-lived..

I slapped him in couple fan duels to see if the luck continues but I'm sure he'll be a dud.
He's worth trying in tournaments IMO, you need to hit on sleepers in those, boom or bust guys make a lot of sense, but I've seen him in cash game lineups, which is a massive risk, he barely has any targets..

A lot of the "sharks" are high on Melvin Gordon, been hyping him all week, but one of those DSF "experts" was on SportsCenter last night and told the entire country that Melvin Gordon was his play of the week..hopefully it doesn't cause a shift..

Yah, thinking the same. Don't know why someone would do that on purpose

I wonder how many FDP are scored in one game. If there's a game you like and you pick the best players, I wonder what the average total FDP's is for the optimal lineup in one game? Maybe it's pretty high and that's why they do it?

moncrief is strange. He's got skill but it makes no sense that he's kicking ass on a team with TY and Andre

Moncrief had a big game last week didn't he? but yeah that's pretty brutal.
I have plenty RBs so I'm gonna see what I can get for Morris. I should've tried to sell him last week, but hopefully I can find a sucker who still thinks he's worth a wr2

I've got Gordon in just about every lineup. Hyde ran all over Minny and Gordon finally got some touches last week and should see even more this week. Especially with SD trying to keep Peterson off the field. Only thing I worry about is Woodhead stealing his touches in the redzone. Lil' Cracker just has a knack for finding the endzone. Win/Win for me as a Charger fan at least.

Well if the math works maybe that's why they do it. Let's say the average winning FD score in a large tournament is 300 (just making that up) and every week, the highest scoring game (with optimal lineup chosen) is 288. Might make sense - highly doubt that is the case - just thinking of the "why"

Highest guy in mine from last night is 100 points. Last winning position is 2066th place with 32 points.

12,000 people and I'm in 5,000th place with 13 points from my kicker. Almost in the money

The "why" is there are seriously developmentally disabled people playing who think you have to use everyone from Thursday's game. It is the only thing that makes sense, take advantage bro.

Yeah really that's the only thing that makes sense. Especially when it's two teams like the Skins and Giants with just a couple of dudes worth starting.

I saw at least five lineups that had Eli, Morris, Beckham, Giants D etc.

I guarantee I score more than those dudes.

I've got a few lineups, but my favorite:

    Ben
    Sproles
    J Charles
    Moncrief
    Edelman
    Stevie Johnson
    Gronk
    Denver kicker
    Jets D

    $$, imo

    Feel free to borrow

    Very solid.

I felt like this week was an easy one to pick a well rounded roster with a few big names

I'm on pace to win every single heads-up and 50/50 that I played(15 of them ranging from $25 to $270 buy-ins), but I did pretty poorly on tournaments, 3 or 4 wins out of 15..this was by far the toughest week for tournies, so many monster games at the skill positions..

Cash games are really easy, though, if you're trying to make money, rather than just playing for fun or trying to hit the jackpot, tbh..

I'm ready for NBA to start again, came out about +500 dollars on the season last year. Didn't start playing till the midway point though. Planning on throwing down a bit more money on it this year though, who knows maybe I even get lucky and win one of the big ones.

Yeah I lost all 5 tourneys I entered. Got slaughtered tbh. Did win two triple ups so basically a wash for the weekend.

Check this article, good read on the sharks and how they're winning. Always figured something like this.
