I think he lacks lateral quickness. And blow his knees once or twice. Some years ago some NBA teams were scouting him, Mavs included. If someone goes back to the ty brazilian league from Europe instead of going to the NBA, surely there's something wrong. But he can fill the Ayers or even Baynes roles easily.

Edit: As Splitter, he never played professionally in Brazil, only in Europe.
