Yeah I agree with Brees probably being top 10, just not better than Rodgers. When Rodgers is at his best he does literally everything at an elite level.
Rodgers is probably the greatest QB of all-time, based strictly on ability, tbh..there's no QB in league history that can make the throws that he can, while being mobile, too..his receiving weapons have been irrelevant to his success, as well, unlike virtually every other great QB..
Brees is unquestionably top 10, too..

it's really not, i could have said 276 and add two more years to brees.. he also passed 300 5 times (4 consecutive).. I'm actually surprised to see that the difference is so big, I guess it just speaks of the difference in running games between the two teams more than anything..
what it speaks to is Drew Brees' reputation as a notorious stat padder
It's one thing to make Joseph Randle look good, but making Brandon Weeden look like a quality QB.
Will Romo gracefully bow out and hand the keys to Weeden?
that may very well be the case, I'm not denying that, but that may as well not be true since neither the numbers, nor the les, nor the team's performance in general, reflects that. So to call that "objective" to me makes little sense.
T.Y. Hilton bailing out Luck on 3rd and 20.
I miss Nic Cage
Cowboys are going to be a really interesting study for the next 6+ weeks regarding the value of the offensive line..can arguably the greatest O-line of all-time negate a complete lack of talent at every skill position?..
It's early, but it's hard to imagine anybody in the AFC beating the Patriots, barring injury, tbh..
They're on an entire different level of cheating.
I still think their secondary leaves them vulnerable against elite QBs, but their offense looks better than it has at any point since '07.
It actually speaks to the fact that Brees has had to play with historically awful defenses which he's had to keep passing in games to try and outscore opponents. I'm with HH; Rodgers is the most talented QB of all time but Brees is a top 10 QB.
I agree, their secondary looks weak from what I've seen, but the AFC doesn't have any teams that can take advantage of it IMO..I could see Green Bay or healthy Dallas, maybe Seattle or even Arizona beating them, but not anybody from the AFC..
it's the first quarter… chill fam
I have a lot of Carolina on FanDuel today..smh..
I'd just like to go on record again, Joe Buck is the WORST can't stand this er
