Well, Iran's policy is entirely defensive while Russia is battling against an aggressor (DAESH) and USA backs aggressors in pretty much every theater.
Iran has a bigger proxy that is causing mayhem everywhere in syria, Iraq and Yemen with their Shia death squads....
compared to Iran, Israel has been a relatively peaceful country in the last 5 years...

Catering to the bigotry of ignorant Americans has been a strategy of politicians for a long time. Ever since 9/11, "Islamaphobia" marketing campaign has been used to install an irrational sense of fear and paranoia in Americans about an impending doom, such as another 9/11 or major terrorist attack on USA soil.
Sure anythings possible, at any given time... but people are now often worried with no reason to be worried. The death toll in America from guns is far more disturbing than Jihadists.... who are doing most of their damage to poor helpless Muslims in Iraq and Syria and Yemen right now rather than to white people in the West or United States.

Indians, Persians, Bengalis etc are intelligent as when it comes to academic things like math, science and engineering, but they make themselves hard to like because they're ultra conservative and stuck in their own bubble only hanging out with their same-ethnic groups and don't really care to mingle and associate with the general American population (American whites, American blacks, etc). You don't see even a close to representative proportion of Indians, Persians, Bengalis etc. in the college nightclubs (partying and drinking and having fun with everyone else) as in the universities themselves. And you don't see much interracial marriage between Americans and these groups, either. Occasionally a tall and handsome S/SW Asian guy will score a decent-looking white girl, but it virtually never happens the other way around because of their xenophobia. That, and Indian women refuse to wear deodorant. Arranged marriages FTMFL.
TBH I think you could say that about all racial groups. Its human nature people want to be around what's similar to them. A recent study I can't remember who conducted it but it showed that over 80 percent of white people did not have 1 black friend.
