What a putrid showing. Regarding the UT football team's execution today. I'm in favor of it.

I was concerned initially about Charlie Strong's lack of communication skills. Now I wonder about coaching skills - especially selecting assistants. The complete mismanagement of the offensive system is such an abortion.

He better start getting quality high school players on campus now (2016) and in the future. I hope they can develop players. Right now I'm not seeing it.

BTW - fire the special teams coach and the kicker today. Nick Rose is a freakin fruit loop with no talent other than kicking the ball out of the end zone. Please put a walk on at kicker. This Rose is a mental midget and not worth the scholarship Brown gave him.

Charlie Strong is starting to lose the teflon coating he may have had a few months ago.

CS will likely get a third year and that is only because Mack Brown was doing such a crappy job his last four years.

Texas should never have been allowed to crater like this. Total mismanagement at the University and in its athletic department. TCU spit in their face and they quit. Unacceptable.

the sad part is, we just refuse to make plays. Malik dropped an interception, I mean it hit him right in the hands. Our LS hikes the ball 10 ft above our crappy punter's head, leading to a safety. our LS couldn't fall on a loose ball correctly, allowing TCU to recover their fumble. Bonney was looking at the clouds instead of the ball, otherwise, he would have been in great position for a pick 6 opportunity. Rose missed 2 FGs. 3 of the first 4 TDs, their WRs were wide open.....but, had we taken care of the turnovers, none of those possessions would have continued and the game would have been a game.

We had a very good opening possession defensively. However, the minute Daje got laid out, it seemed like the team curled up into the fetal position and peed themselves.

However I will say this.

It is no coincidence that the two guys from our last class that talked the most during their recruitment are the guys who one has transferred and two is tweeting about transferring.

I've said this before and I will say it again, a guy who likes to talk a lot of during recruiting process seldom has the internal for ude to succeed at college football. Cherry couldn't make it past the 1st week of practice. Boyd has a lot of talent, but if he was responsible for that tweet then he doesn't have the balls to turn this around.

They can be ty and still compete. They aren't competing at all and this has gone on for 2 seasons now. Part of coaching is teaching kids how to handle adversity, and teaching them to progress. They aren't progressing, they are making the same mistakes every game, and they are quitting.

Evidently, the AD (also an ex-player) has spoken with Deloss Dodds about his level of authority with regards to firing Strong.

I'm pretty sure nothing will happen between now and the end of the season, but you can bet Charlie is going to be given an ultimatum of either replacing his staff or getting replaced.

I'm giving it 50/50 he (strong) is out before the end of December.

OrangeBloods reporting the coaches called an "emergency" team meeting on Saturday night once they got back to Austin.

It lasted about an hour and many things were addressed, including Boyd's halftime tweet issue.

Apparently one senior stood up and called out the coaches on personnel decisions and they need to take blame as well.
