gezzz, you're butthurt.
About all the recruits going to Aggy? Sure. This win doesn't stop that.
You need to get laid dude. Texas won. Be happy for two weeks.
Lol Strong is still a coach. So is Stoops. You are welcome to be happy with a losing record and losing out on recruits. Stoops lost to Case ing McCoy![]()
This team could easily be 4-2, and last time I checked recruiting ends in February. I'm not worried. Strong pretty much solidified his job for next season. You can keep ing that chicken though.
And you can enjoy watching Texas' top targets going to Aggy.
Jesus Christ djohn shut your ing hole and enjoy the win. You whine more than my wife.
The Good:
Both lines played incredible in comparison to what has been happening. We were actually beating people on both fronts.
No holding or illegal procedure on the Oline . (That I remember)
The Dline, with guys lots of subbing, was getting a big push.
Conversions on Third down was massive (have not looked at the starts)
The snap, the punt, and the coverage, was decent!
I Give Norvell a lot of credit this game. I think he probably had a good game plan for both groups.
The receivers and RBs made some really good blocks.
The Bad:
We had only 10 men on the field one play giving them a nice gain and putting us on our heals.
The shotgun snapping was horrid most of the first half.
Rose still has bad hair and appears to still have accuracy problems.
Bad snap on extra point again.
We used timeouts unnecessarily during the first half due to continued confusion.
Heard is taking off too quickly now instead of showing patience or throwing the ball away. When Heard does pull the ball down during appropriate scenarios that kid can get the corner. OU was horrible on the contain (unlike TCU) and he got us some huge first downs.
Thank you, Based God.![]()
Since we are rolling out all these negative stats about Strong with the losses, blowouts, etc. here's a couple I found:
Strong was 7-6 his first year at Louisville. The next season he started out 2-4. He finished that season 5-1.
After the midpoint of that second season he went 28-5 over the rest of his time at Louisville.
Give the man time.
So here is what I have been thinking about this whole mess.
1. You don't fire Strong after 2 years unless you have a badass coach already signed sealed and delivered.
2. If you decide to keep strong, you commit to him for 2 more seasons, if he is on shaky ground he will never get a high quality staff in place to turn this around thus why give him another single year to begin with?
Now that we have beaten Oklahoma
1. He ain't getting fired unless something goes terribly wrong.
2. He should be given 2 more years no matter what.
3. He still needs to evaluate his staff and make changes. I highly doubt Watson sticks around, things are looking up for Wickline and Brick.
just my .02 cents
Nothing to get worked up over, but yes, OL Greg Little of Allen was in attendance today.
Iv seen people talking alot about this. IMO it means very little if anything. If you're from Allen, why wouldnt you take a little trip down the road and get pampered. Not like he made a 6 hour drive or something...
A few of his boys from Allen play for OU as well.
