Yeah. Feel kinda bad for Astros fans. I would root for them after the Royals. I have family and in-laws in Houston and have gone to plenty of Astros games.

Gibbons is the biggest re to ever manage a baseball team. Price shouldn't even be out there right now, ey was doing just fine.
Well we can assume Gibbons is getting fired anything short of a WS le. He's dumber than a rock.
Ending the Jays' playoff drought was probably enough to save his job, unfortunately. I do think Anthopoulos is secretly hoping that the Red Sox or Yankees overpay David "The Choker" Price this offseason, though. Stroman is their real ace.
Gibbons doesn't have confidence in his ace, so he kills his confidence even more by allowing him a shaky relief appearance. But hey at least he steals the W from ey.
And ending the drought was achieved by Gibbons doing exactly what he needed to do - getting the out of the way of his own team. Then he couldn't help himself the last week of the season and loses the #1 but playing second stringers 2 straight games, benching Price for 11 days and pitching Beurhle on 1 days rest to get a meaning less streak (which he didn't get).
I still would have started Price for Game 5.
At least the offense seemed to find itself towards the end. Hamels on the mound Wednesday with Beltre back in the lineup should give the Rangers a good chance, but Fielder needs to give them something as well.
I wish he were starting too.

Price starts game 5, Stroman in relief. Not the other way around. I hope the Rangers make Gibby pay for this mistake. David Price is the best ing pitcher in the American League. 12.5 WAR over last 2 years. And you make the decision over a small sample size in the postseason?

Got a feeling Cubs are gonna get their hearts ripped out, per par. They'll probably go up 5-2 and blow it in Cubs fashion.
