Streams are down. :'(
Heat announcers gravy-training Spurs' success -- "Heat and Spurs are the two best run franchises in the league."
Nah. I'm trying to remember who that was, though. I wanna say it was someone who doesn't post a lot, so it came out of nowhere from my perspective.

RIP Spurtacular
Kyle has made 2 or 3 heads-up plays on defense with his length this first half (almost Kawhi like). It looks consistent and he is a little faster on lateral movement. So there is at least one bright spot.
Is this a prediction? If so, it's already taken.
Might be me. I made topics the past two seasons highlighting the different units and their effectiveness. I post a decent amount though![]()
That start of the 2nd quarter was fatal, tbh... too many early fouls sent the Heat to the line every time...
I liked Kyle in general this game, but those two fouls he had then are the kind that gets Pop fuming
The stream is not bad, but damn this Indian's song & dancing at the half time interval, my eyes are sore.![]()
Appreciate it. I have access to those numbers, but someone created something on ST too (which is what I was referring to, but this is helpful as well)
I thought it was ok, except when Boban was on the floor... just slow to rotate against athletic guys... that said, it's his 2nd game in Spurs uniform, so let's hope he can still improve
People can say LMA~Splitter defensively as much as they want, but LMA at is best is just good Splitter. Normal Aldridge is no where near average Splitter, and when Tiago would go into Golden God mode, he was by far the best defender on the team.
I really like him, very versatile big and a . Nice guy. Was overshadowed by the LeBron era. I hope he makes some noise in the east this yr..
Were you posting a lot then? I know I hadn't heard of the poster before that and was mad impressed.
The bigs are all really slow, and Aldridge looks slower than he was in Portland IMO..hopefully it's just preseason basketball shape for Aldridge, but can't do much about the ages of Duncan/West/Diaw..
Not necessarily a fatal flaw, though, I've never heard of bench defense being a significant factor in the make or break for the le..
LMA not as bad as I thought on D.
Boban can be a defensive plus.
It's going to be a struggle for Pop to implement "Spurs D' with so many combos. But the potential is there.
I'm less worried about D than I was an hour ago.
Yeah, me too. I was really sad when he opted out last season. Would have wanted him badly this year, even with the blood clots. He learned how to be an effective center (especially defensively), but he would have benefited from playing with Tim even more than Aldridge has.
Yeah, plus the miscues were on both ends, tbh... at this time of the season though, I don't expect lock down D, tbh... if anything it will have to come from the KA, Simms, Butler, Jimmer, etc that are trying to make the team
The issue is that Manu just can't get it done consistently on D anymore. Pop is GOING to close with him over Green, and Parker/Manu/Leonard/LMA/Duncan has the potential to be a bad defensive unit unless Aldridge is 100-percent engaged.
Roger should be interesting this year. I expect both Boban and Kyle will be better in some lineups thAn others. I really liked Ndoye, raw big, but he's so agile for his height. I think we'll see him again w LMA about to foul out'
Agree with Boban statement, but I wouldn't put him anywhere close to the court with a mobile 5 that can hit midrange shots....
Manu didn't close against the Clippers last playoffs (at least on Game 7), so I'm not sure that's a given, tbh... plus I thought Gino's defense has been above average, tbh... at least much better than Tony... probably the 3rd best perimeter defender we had last season...
