Best signs for me in this game:

Duncan going 7-7 playing alongside LMA. Teams will regularly put their better defender on the younger LMA all year, leaving Duncan as the beneficiary.

Distribution of shots by the starters:
    KL: 15
    LMA: 12
    Duncan: 7
    Parker: 7
    Green: 6

I'd like to see Parker shoot a few threes each game to keep the defenses honest, but otherwise the starters looked great. I look for Aldridge and Kawhi to lead in shot attempts, and Duncan to have an Artis-Gilmore-like FG%.

I don't think KL should be the leader in shot attempts. I really don't think that he's an efficient enough scorer. Maybe in a couple of years, but not this coming year.

I want to see LMA take every open shot he's give. I don't want to see him to post up his man.

Duncan is absolutely going to have a field day this year! Not only is the defender going to be weaker, he's got an option to pass it to a scorer like LMA. I don't think there's a team that can matchup against those two.

Forgot about Davis. Though he's going to end up being a center by the end of this upcoming contract. Bosh is better than Blake, though, at least I'd rather have him. Blake's more talented, though.
Bosh's legacy is going to hang on his post-LeBron career. He can't shrink in the postseason when he's arguable the best player on the Heat. I remember him getting his ass busted by scrubby ass Mikki Moore in a postseason series when he was in Toronto & an MVP candidate. Blake on the other hand was the best PF in the postseason in 2015 & he is still improving as a player (esp. shooting).

I'm not so sure Marc would've been a better fit than LMA. Feel like him and Duncan's skillsets overlap moreso than LMA and Duncan's. LMA spaces the floor better and is more mobile on defense, both of which are pretty important given Duncan's decline in those aspects.

Yes, and a happy Duncan is likely to play longer. Go on Timmy, give us 3 or 4 more seasons! Prove to the world 40 to 45 isn't fatal.

    , prove 50 isn't fatal.

Yep..Bosh is still yet to get it done as the top dog in the postseason..remember Timmy roughing him up in Game 6 1st half and was embarrassingly held scoreless in Game 7 of NBA Finals....

Gasol was one of the best mid-range shooters last year (same FG% from 16>3 as LMA) & is just as mobile as LMA. The guy won DPOY w/o being a great shot blocker/rebounder b/c he was a very versatile defender for a center. His offense is also more diverse than LMA.

I always thought that. Having Kanter mark TD In the playoffs is a huge plus for us.
