Evolution does not take millions of years. It's evident in deer herd management. If you kill all the big antler deer, and leave the scrubs to reproduce, eventually all your deer will be scrubs. If that happens on a world scale, you have forced an evolution in deer antlers, there would be no more monster bucks. You'd have to genetically alter one to make it happen. 200 years later, people would think an 8 point 20" spread is a monster, and 20,000 years from now folks would marvel at the size of the antlers from deer prior to the "event". That's evolution by selective breeding. The fact that genes exist is evidence enough of evolution, that it can happen. Sometimes it's the natural conditions that allows specific traits to survive and reproduce and survive reproduction. Sometimes it's a single event that alters the path of evolution, but either way the animal was evolving.

1. No it is like 4.5 billion.
2. That would negate evolution altogether if there was half fish half man. This is what I mean; your knowledge in this area is heavily lacking.
3. Because fish and humans are not closely related. We would expect similar dna to chimps though. AND WE DO.
