I'm not a fan of people using +/- to try and analyze basketball games and players. But there are times that it has some meaning. Jonathan Simmons was a staggering -29 in this game. And he played right at 20 minutes, which means that the Spurs just got the living kicked out of them when he was on the floor.
It's usually a combination of players, but the next worst for the Spurs was Kyle Anderson at -18 in 24 minutes. I know it's pre-season, but that's bad enough to just say, "HOLY Simmons was bad!" You can't always learn much from +/- but you really have to dig through some box scores to find other -29 nights.
