Biggest hurricane in History.
200 mph...![]()
Is Jim Cantore there?![]()
Better not be close tbh. They are saying it could maintain it's strength right up to landfall because the waters are so warm.
Now, I'm sure EVERYONE down there knows this monster is coming. Yet, there will likely be numerous deaths. Why people hang around when they know storms like this are on the way is beyond me. 200mph, Patricia is coming with the strap-on. Hide ya kids hide ya wife
ing buzzsaw
The frijoleros should consider packing up and saying goodbye to their homes in the area, plenty of time to not die.
gotta give cable news something to spew about, now that the Hillary show is over (for a while)
This is weather control at it's finest. Engineered so that the U.S. can open it's doors to the displaced millions.
Interesting that you say that, a buddy of mine was talking along these terms. Spouting HAARP and such.
Hope people take it seriously and gtfo of its path
Incorrect. That record belongs to Typhoon Tip. This is actually a relatively small hurricane for a Cat 5 storm.
This hurricane, however, does have the strongest (confirmed) sustained wind speed in history.
Let him know that HAARP hasn't been active for a long time.![]()
Maybe they are making the distinction between the use of "hurricane" and "typhoon" as to the different hemispheres?
Weather guy just said the size is actually pretty small, but the conditions just made it ripe for category 5 intensity and pressure.
it's crazy that it went from 60mph to 200mph in a span of 30 hours.
Yeah...all the record references have to do with strength and not size. I believe it set a time frame record for low to high intensity too.
I still have satellite shots of Hurricane Ike. Now that was a big ing storm.
Dr. Masters with WeatherUnderground just posted a very informative update for those interested.

Get 'em, Patty
damn...I wish I had the internet back in the day when I was doing things
THAT is considered relatively small? Damn![]()
Yes. By comparison here is the largest storm on record, Typhoon Tip, which also possesses the worldwide all time record low pressure on planet Earth of 870mb.
This is at his peak, where sustained winds inside the eyewall were 160mph... over a 10 minute period of time. Which is just beyond insane.
Since there is no land in that photo to compare sizes to, here is Tip superimposed on the United States:
