Parker started but Patty is getting a lot of time with the first team, and Tony spent a good chunk of time with the bench.
I saw that. What was that about do you think? Experiment? More spacing for 3 post players with 2 shooters in Danny and Patty? Westbrook was doing whatever he wanted with both Tony an dPatty pretty much, so its not a defense adjustment, its got to be for the offense.

that's all he and westbrook do. They drive the lane, hit the floor and hope for a whistle. pussy ass nba . those 2 and harden. They've heard whistles so much that they expect that to be normal
Coach has no plan, status quo.

Let Westbrook keep chuck, the more he does it the more shots he takes away from KD.
    THis.

There are only two players in the league that can keep Durant under twenty points.

    1) Kawhi
    2) Westbrook

Fortunately they're both playing in this game.

It's natural since we are pretty much running a 2 pg rotation without Cojo.

let's see, parker is offering nothing on offense, can't even penetrate and dish, and he's getting cooked on defense. Someone explain to me again how his extension was a great deal. Every season people say, "if parker is healthy". I'm sick of the excuse bull . Dude is done.
To Pop's credit, he played Mills with the starters quite a bit

It's soo much Westbrook. Guy is still going at the same speed he closed last season with.
Yeah, he's been such a beast. It's ridiculous how easy it is for him to get a layup in traffic like it's nothing.

Yep, Tony's offense was pretty poor that half. He has talked the talk of a "new role" now he has to figure out how to walk the walk.

I'd say an experiment, though you're certainly right about the additional spacing with both Danny and Patty out there.

man, green is going to carry my fantasy team tbh, with aldridge and west now in, he can statpad rebounds and get clean triples all night while those two warrant additional attention from the D. Diaw is great, but is not a threat on the boards..

Westbrook makes some of the best pocket passes in the league
He's improved a whole lot. I like him more than Durant TBH. Of our rivals, has to be my favorite.

The good: We are making easier shots; KL D has lead to many of these

The bad: Aldridge is in no way a part of our offense.

With Tim, LaMarcus, and KL we are playing with quite a bit of length on D. Parker is the obvious weak spot here; speed, strength and length non existent. Not much we can do about this though.

P&R layup or jumper by Aldridge would be nice to see repeatedly.

Anyone notice Parker going out early and then playing Wight the second unit? I think that's good all around. Parker can force the issue with them, and let Aldridge and Kawhi dominant with the first unit and mills dropping 3s.

Aldridge has a handful of assits by now doesn't he? Hrs getting great looks for his team mates.

The Spurs will only get better as everyone learns each other. OKC continues to rely to much on two players. They will win some games, and they might even win this game, but they are going no where come the playoffs if Durant and Westbrook do nor learn how to play team ball.

Tbh I'd rather have Parker out there than Mills. Mills is just a bad PG imo. He's a good shooter but not a great playmaker.

Mills really is a shooting guard, but can run the point if need be.

This isn't a good matchup for small-ish pg

Aldridge and Kawhi will continue to dominate touches on offense with the way things are going. Having a bail out shooter is a good thing with ball dominate players who can pass.

Don't know if anyone else notice the cheap push Durant got away with on Kawhi after he owned him, but it woke Kawhi up.

    Kawhi shutting down Durant.

Right. Spurs do not have anybody on the roster to be effective PG against OKC.
