I would say tank, but you've still got to try to keep the 50 win streak intact, just for the heck of it... I see 52–30 as a relatively realistic record for the Spurs this year, with them getting a 5 to 7 seed and bowing out in 5 games to the Thunder or Clippers or something. They're good enough to compete and win games in the West, but they're just not on the level with the contenders realistically.

Spurs need another shooter.....Like a Marco B. type player.....
the Spurs has all the right ingredients to compete with any team in the west, almost new team..LMA, West, even Duncan as center, they just have to gel..ang it won't happen overnight..

Really hope Boban is given a shot against easier match ups and work his way up there. We need someone that can alter shots around the rim at least when Duncan/Aldridger is off the floor. Bonner is pretty much useless sitting on the bench and calling traveling calls that aren't going to be called in the NBA.

God UNT is such a whiny ing . One loss to a tough opponent on their home court in the season opener and he acts like the sky is falling.
